No problems of significance to report from me either.
I notice changes in "Ratings" (Positive, Neutral, Negative) and members names no longer available on posts indicating their "likes". Also other changes relating to ratings....

I imagine that other changes are still occurring as we "speak".

Maybe we spoke too soon. The Like link (button) has vanished, along with posts in various threads (well, at least two threads that I've noticed). Also, instead of listing who has liked a post, it now shows a thumbs up icon x [number], e.g. Like x 1.

Maybe we broke the forum again with our bitchy banter and ribald repartee. Sorry, h/p.

Presently Rachy and I are both in Darwin working hard on getting the Forum cleaned up, more presentable and much easier to use, also there is some training being done so things will be far more efficeint. I again apologise and hope to keep seeing you as an active member on the Forum.

No sweat, Tania (unlike what you must be doing up in the tropics). I just meant something useful for the rest of the weekend. And that didn't quite pan out either.

I can see them all right, just have to remember what they all mean. What a veritable cornucopia of options... Hopefully, the ABC icon has been stress tested -- it may get a workout.

A funny humorous one liner is often the best way to lighten a thread that has become to heavy
And posters like Mr Little bepp His XLNC even Pheobe and many others make the site human
The clicking of an emotion is for the robotic or those without the ability to think of of a fun or clever response

For example if I disagree with X I click dislike no rhyme or reason for why how or what
To me very disappointing and a backward step
Time to reconsider a few things

I'm already leading (equally) on the negative list. LOL.

Someone rated one of my silly posts as dumb. Well, yeah, it was supposed to silly. But did it warrant a negative rating from someone I don't banter with (first time I noticed that person) on a post directed at someone that I do banter with regularly. ??????

But are likes and dislikes all that important. It might cause people to hesitate and analyse what they want to say. and not end up posting rather risk getting an negative rating. That will probably result in less friendly banter between members that are familiar with each others' personalities.

At the time I was looking for a dislike for seven news on their Facebook as the report was inaccurate and seven news could not even be bothered to reply to my message etc etc.. For TS I was just opening it up for discussion.
It's all absurd in my opinion. Too many alerts from members that don't even have a vested interest in the particular thread; happily punching one of the icons without having to explain themselves!!!!!
