New Covid Rules

Judge was wrong, he said what more could Novak do for entry into Australia? It's pretty simple- have the 2 Covid shots, if not he shouldn't have even got a Visa to get on a plane for Australia.
The other tennis players should refuse to play him on the grounds that he is not vaccinated like everyone else.
Tennis Australia is weak they are only interested in having a draw card like Novak in the draw.
Sport should never cross over into the health of everyone else at the Tennis, as in the other players, staff, officials & spectators etc etc they should have made it perfectly clear to Novak- no Covid shots then no entry into the Australian Open or any other tornament in Australia, other unvaccinated players have already left Australia.
The officials of the open are only thinking about how much money will be made if Novak plays as opposed to how much money will they not see if he doesn't play.
Just my opinion.

So under the new mandate starting on the Jan 31st , one can pay to play with a box, but has to prove their vaccination status to buy a mere box of beer in a bottle shop.
Awesome!

Novax is gone. Investigations now by Spain and Serbia. I reckon the Australian government will give him his marching orders tomorrow. Truly, Novax is an absolute moron.

Now that the draw has been done, I'll think the Government will wait until the schedule of play for Monday/Tuesday is released and then instigate deportation procedures. Novak will seek an injunction, but according to immigration lawyers that have appeared on various TV news programs, Novak will have to go into detention while the injunction hearings go ahead. Thus he can watch the tennis on TV like many others. 🤣🤣🤣

Well Novak's had his visa cancelled and his lawyers will appeal as expected. It's just a coincidence that Novak's opponent in the first round is a fellow Serb. Now I expect that this player will mysteriously come down with a bout of Gastro (wonders what an undercooked chicken can do to you) on the day of the match. This player will then have to forfeit the match thus giving Novak more time to mount his appeal before the second round. Obviously the fellow Serb can't pull out until the day of the match, otherwise he would get replaced by a lucky loser from the Qualifying competition.

The plot thickens where governments are concerned… hmmm 🤔

Totally
They tried to implement this ID thing a few years back and everyone figured it was an invasion of our privacy (it is IMO)
Now they implement and force us to do as they say so we can have a life.
It's for our safety?
Or consider the conspiracy, now they know what we all do during relaxation time

Thank fuck we don't have to sign in to see a WL.... or is that cuming as well?

Not now. But it will be in the future, all it takes is 1 shop to get infected and quarantine. And make the local news. In the sex industry no one wants to be identified customer nor do WLs on the local news.

Just imagine Surprise Police Raids... but Covid Police raids, checking WLs and Customers Jab status per shop. Very bad for business.

McGowan doesn’t seem to like people enjoying life or small businesses.
He will manufacture a way to make life difficult for ‘massage’ parlours if they come under his radar

Privacy could still be an issue?
We may be able to use random "names" and ph numbers at establishments, but what about private WL / our regular private WL?
If a private WL got COVID, are we expect the WL to keep us out of contact tracing? (which is illegal)
Or are we expecting a knock on the door and tell our family that we may have got COVID because of our visit to a private WL?

The amount of places which are going to become exposure sites I'm sure you can say you were at one of those exposure sites as apposed to visiting a WL... look how many exposure sites we have now way over 100 for the minimal cases we have. Where there is a will there is a way so they say.

Alot of us private girls live second lives nobody knows what we do... so it's like visiting a friend or neighbour we are not going to actively list all our clients to the contact tracing team however a discrete text message to let you know to be tested. When tested we would be using our real name and check ins.

When the new rules are implemented on January 31st - they are the same rules that QLD have already implemented and currently in place with the addition of bottle shops here in WA. I don't think private workers will at this stage be required to start up registers, but I think once the borders do open up on Feb 5th and Omicron becomes more prevalent the AMP's will become more compliant in ensuring that registration takes place - for two main reasons - 1/ They don't want to close unnecessarily for an expensive deep clean and lose revenue and 2/ The ladies working at these establishments don't want to lose revenue either if they are forced to close.

As my comments a few posts up, one has already been forced to close for 2 weeks.

I read that - Now it will be interesting to see if the COVID register was scanned/filled in as per current laws, otherwise it will be closed longer than 2 weeks and the fines will be quite large (along with possible prison sentence as per the current law) for failing to ensure the register is scanned/filled in on every visit.

Interesting times. I've never scanned in to an AMP.
This will make news today I'm told, and it will be worse, because this girl also worked other venues as you would expect.

Well, we’re about to find out. I’m being told by some working girls that an amp girl tested positive yesterday, the shop is now closed for 2 weeks. SOR. Apparently it will be announced today. Canning Hway I believe, in the 700’s range?

See this is only the beginning. If more shops pop up on TV the government will step in, or the shops will enforce Checks before entry.

Once WA borders open up it's going to be much worse.

Problem now is... how are Private girls going to protect themselves in the future? Unless they screen a person outside, before inviting them back to their place? Cause once a infected enters a house, its contaminated. Think a fair amount of Private girls will be thinking of stopping their second job as a WL once the borders open up.

Hope you girls have saved up a kitty for a rainy day, cause 2 weeks or longer depending on recovery in question. Always best to be safe then sorry i say.

I've saved up enough to last me for a month, in case myself or my family members gets sick.

I haven’t seen anything listed on the exposure sites yet. Hopefully it’s just another case of chinese whispers and the industry doesn’t suffer from a crackdown.

Time will tell if it gets listed. As for being real, i was in a shop today, and heard the girls talking about a shop that had to close down till the 28th. And discussing what the reason could be.

I didn't think much about it till i came on here and saw @Be Nice comment, and put 2 and 2 together.

You are right.
(I maybe thinking too much)
Personally, it is more than privacy issue for me.
For example, if the WL I visited caught COVID and I somehow also tested positive.
The thought about the possibility of passing COVID to our love ones (particularly children or aged parents), the possibility of causing life threatening conditions (worst case) and trying to lie about where I've been. I am sure it will give me some kind of guilty feeling.
(The simple solution is to stop punting until the COVID situation becomes abit clearer - but it is easier to say than done. Once your a punter your always a punter)
