Yes you are correct in saying it maybe an ego thing, but not necessarily all about ownership. It could also be feeling of not being inadequate, that they can't satisfy/fullfil their partners sexual needs.

To be honest sexnut my job probably helped me to understand the difference between a mutual enjoyable physical act and the more than physical connection we (hopefully) have in a relation ship........which should be so much more than just sex.
So, to answere your question....even when I am out of the industry in time to come it won't change my attitude. I think it is really liberating because let's face it what most people fear is that their partner might cheat.
