Noticed last night there will be 30+ interstate ladies touring Perth in March.

Right now at 10am there are almost 30 ladies Available Now on Scarlett Blue (I realise not all are real accounts).

Is there an oversaturation in the industry at the moment. There is only so much money to be spent so some ladies will be struggling next month. Will it mean some favourites will leave the industry?
 
Funny you say that - I have noticed the increase especially on SB as well. I don't think there is something like "oversaturation" when it comes to sex. :) - but obviously far more competion among the ladies.

So far I haven't notice regular ladies disappearing - more ladies seem to tour other states. WA is popular among the interstate ladies as they can make more money here then over east.
Will be interesting to see how the market will regulate itself.
 
I have noticed in EscortsandBabes the number of pages has increased. Today it is showing 36 pages of adverts. I know it was less in the past. Depends on whether they have other skills or not. If no, then law of supply and demand says that prices will drop. LOL. How do I short the Sex work market?

If you take away Esquires which has the most Western ladies on shift during the business work day for all those Horny office jocks, and Foxys which caters for the passing Tradie/road warrior types and the few ladies that Langtrees has on day-shift there is not much of a choice for clients out there in Perth, and the ladies from the East know this fact, so they tour here knowing the local gent will book them.

Not sure I’d say it's saturated. It's just how the industry goes; tours come and go. As long as the regulars are still booking, the favourites will be fine. It’s all about adapting to the shifts ☺️

The best way to assess if a market is oversaturated is to look at the direction of pricing and service inclusions. If the Perth market was oversaturated then prices would be a lot more competitive and the most of extras in recent years would be inclusive. So my take is that far from oversaturated, demand still exceeds supply, and by a lot.
 
I just had a look at SB and as at 730pm there are over 30 marked as Available Now. I would have thought it would be hard to find one on a Friday night. Explains why I have no trouble with daytime private bookings a week in advance.
 
Maybe it will drop the prices with all the extra competition out there.

Hmmm you do know the price is there wage/salary? if they came into your place of work and looked at prices and said the same what and how would you feel?

I've had to drop prices in my trade to be more competitive. It's not unusual for businesses or sole traders to drop prices when it gets tough. Might need to do extra jobs to find that new price point that works.

Lets them get people that don't know what they're doing do it. Then you get to fix it anyways. I was told even pre-covid tradesman were like "thats how much it is, we're gonna have to come and fix it anyways if we're not the one's to do it initially."

Not really a valid point when relativities are taken inro account. The average prices charged by sex workers in WA has risen by around 5 times the rise of average wages over the past 3 years. So if the shoe was on the other foot they would be very justified to say the same thing.
 
There are several price points in the industry. AMPs where the quality is questionable, druggies and old women, independants working casually, beautiful but unskilled women, high end independants and brothels and finally courtesans for the rich. Each group has a price range and prices within those groups will vary. The main reasons being the rental crisis for incalls, how often they work, and demand. Demand varies at different times of year but it seems that the group I see more often is mostly booked out days or a week in advance and they are the ones who have been able to put their prices up $50 an hour in the last year.
 
I am happy for WL to set their prices and it is also a buyer's market. But I am really annoyed when the lady shortchanges the appointment time e.g. paid for an hour but only got 30-40 minutes of services.
(I would prefer they set a higher price to start with)

I agree. Sometimes I think GFE has become a licence to delay. Often with an independant they tell you to message on arrival and dont allow you to buzz the door until the start of the alotted time. Then they sit you down for a chat and maybe a drink and by the time you are out of the shower you have lost at least 20 minutes of the hour. Then many offer a back massage which burns another 10 or 15, and the shower afterwards is also included in your time. I just dont go back if that happens.
