Ok so 1 hour a day at $200 an hour 5 days a week is $1000 a week or 52k per year before tax. Seems very lucrative so yeah maybe no need to inflate prices.

Two of my recent posts in this thread were deleted even though it added to the debate and there was nothing offesive it just gave examples of certain agency providers increasing prices significantly greater than inflation and wages growth, and now it seems any post I make is now pending subject to moderation. Whatever happened to the promise talking Turkey would be free flowing and not subjected to moderation like on langtrees.com?
He also hasnt allowed for the cut taken by the house to cover their profit, rent, electricity, cleaning, fit out, consumables, tax and gst etc. The poor girl would be lucky to be getting $50. So I agree with Phoebe, whats it worth?

When working for someone else is often 50/50 or even 60/40 with 60% to the house
Even myself, I ran 3 specials of $50 off. When regular clients not coming as often or telling me it was harder to hide money away from thier wife.

When I had been dating last year. There was the expectation from me the men had to pay and treat me like a princess. High value women expect provider men.

I think asking how much an hour is worth is open ended in any occupation. I have been in my industry for over 30 years with many positive reviews, I would think I'm worth more than an apprentice just starting out. But then someone who has 5 years experience with positive reviews should be worth more than a someone who has been a cowboy for 20 years. In every industry there is a very wide range of workers who are worth more or worth less than the average.
The thread has detoured well off the point of why I started it. It was to point out that we should look after our favourite locals even when there are a lot of travelers because when the travellers leave the locals might not be around anymore. Was not intending it to be a discussion on price and worth.

I agree with Horny A. Back on track. Given we are entering uncharted economic times (again) that have gathered momentum very quickly thanks to the duck. Recession, economic contraction etc etc.......what impact on pricing and numbers of WL's would you anticipate? Iron ore may be in for a hard time, FIFO numbers dropping.... will this be a flip the switch moment for pricing and the reduction of choices in WA?

The reason I laughed is the amount you suggest is fair will either get you an AMP or a Locanto or similar. I am a frequent punter of quality WLs and am fully across the costs today.

Well I gave a serious answer and you replied back with a laughter like you know better, what can I say? I regularly find young, attractive WLs within that price point, mainly Asian in Perth and caucasian ladies in Melbourne and Sydney where I regularly travel with work. I find it hard to accept that you are a seasoned punter if you believe otherwise or perhaps you do know but from other posts you somehow believe WLs are worth more than the market rate and happily donate more in tips.
The best city to do this game in.... there is a parlor for everyone and everyones budget/tastes/age brackets/and demographic...
We all seek different experiences at different price points. That's why it would be impossible to find agreement on what constitutes a current 'market rate' for any service based on supply and demand pressures. What matters is if the experience you have lives up to your expectations from the spend you made. If $150 delivers to your expectations that's great. If $500 delivers to your expectations great, if 2k delivers, awesome! We are all different, with different needs, wants, desires and expectations. I've paid 5k and been left wanting, I've paid $500 and been pleasantly surprised. Men share the same desires but with different budgets......and that's ok.
Price point dosent always equal good service.
