Oh I love my coffee! Nice one Harry :) I prefer to make my own if I can.

As much as people will likely disagree with me I find Dome to be pretty consistent. Not always 'omg amazing!' But consistently good. I drop by the one in vic park most mornings on my way to work and it's always been nice :)

LOL - Yes I love that too but my PJs are bit brief for the forum - I really love a nice coffee in the company of happy people too though - so I love the coffee shops....

Driving escorts this morning I caught this on the news about a 3 year old taken from her house and to listen to the father's pleas shook me as it brought the full impact upon me

I cannot at any point understand anyone taking a child in this manner, I pray she turns up safe and well.
I have often thought on Capital punishment (PRO's & CON's) and still come up with it should be re established for just such cases as these if the child is murdered.
I have caveats thou as to the process of taking a life for justice.
1. A Commonwealth Of Australia court with a Supreme judge from each state and territory with one more from another Commonwealth country (so 9 in all).
2. No jury, if found guilty there would be a maximum 5 years to appeal before the same type of court and then if still found guilty punishment to be carried out.

The High Court is Constitutional matters I'm pretty sure.
I just feel we need to relook at how we are declining in matters of this nature and I'm not saying this lightly as a persons life would be in the balance. I would go as far as Amnesty International having a seat.

The justice system definitely needs to be overhauled in Australia. If you look at cases of the past and do a comparison some things don't add up. When someone has obviously murdered another person, they can be passed as manslaughter. While one embezzled money from an organisation (still a very bad crime), gets judged harsher than a murder case. WTF is that?

How could the justice system let a convicted rapist to go on parole before awaiting sentencing so he can commit another rape?

When convicted with evident, capital punishment it is I reckon. A life for a life, though it may not help the victim's family. But society does not need low life nor does it need to fund this person's life in prison.

I'm all for taking a life for justice but in crimes against kids especially, I think its too easy a way out. How many crazy's get executed smiling and in some way happy.

Instead treat them so badly they wish they were dead.

Why waste resources...Bring back Capital punishment, Especially for rape and crimes against children.

I know it is horrible to take a life but those who do these things like rape & crimes against kids should not be allowed to live....
