Aaron has talked me into investing in this Flash Chat. It will be installed on Monday. I am not much of a chat user,as I have been promising chat for ages, I have gone for the video version to make up for taking so long.
We will also have live help working on Monday so members can get live help online for problems they are having with the forum.
In about one hour the "new look" www.langtrees.com goes live so stick around and have a look at the site I have been working on for the last year.
I have just about driven my IT & Artists up the wall, but very pleased with the result.

At the moment it Wont grab your account details, so you will have to log in as guests, but once we get it working, when you login in the future it will bring along your Forum details.

We are working on getting the Flash chat working today. Be patient, Aaron has chosen the best chat on the market, so it will be worth waiting for.
You will have to be a member of the forum to use the chat features, so start registering.

We have been working on the new chat room and forum all day. We wanted to get Super PM going and it has taken three hours with young Aaron getting very frustrated with the process. Finally out it goes and he has bored instead of board.
The new chat room is in test for a few days then we will have specific room, some will be user groups only like Ladies Playground Members, Working Ladies
If you can think of specific groups let me know via post. You have waited a long time for this so we will try to give you whatever we can within reason.

WOW, Congratulations Aaron, I have been using chat rooms since the mid-nineties, on and off. I have to say that is arguably the BEST looking chat room I have ever been in. The features are straightforward and easy to use. WOW.
Now all we need is to get people using it.

Hi Aaron, having set this chat up on a forum before to have it use the forum login information, you must set this choice up when you install the chat, you need to make sure you have the correct cms set in the config file as well.
If you set it up at install to intergrate with the board your using it will use the login database and people wont have to login twice.
Getting it intergrated into the forum so it appears as a link is a little more complicated and involves editing some of the config files of the board. If you refer to the docs and user forum on Tufat (the software provider) you will find all the help you need there.
It was only after discovering the user forums I was able to get it intergrated properly into Robyn Leslie's Forum on her website.
Good luck, its a great chat software especially for the price, I cant believe that it is so cheap, but its much more effective and configurable than many other higher priced options on the market.

We are actually using another piece of Software not supplied by TuFat.
Our Software is from www.123flashchat.com, and was a tad more than what TuFat Charges.
The reason we went with 123FlashChat, was reliability, and the backing of the designers.
The Reason why the username and password isnt coming across from the Forum, is that because there is several rooms you can login to, it dosent assume that you will be visiting the "Talkin" Sex room.

Our new chat room is becoming popular, still mostly evenings from around 6pm to about 2am. Take a moment to have a look around, stop and say hello, same password and login as forum. we are working on going straight from forum to chat with out having to login. Hopefully later next week we will conquer thsi issue.
