Ok here it is yes we are the ones who started nagging about the chat room.
The poll we started there were only 20 people who voted on it 18 said yes and 2 said no.
When we first joined the forum it was the chat room that we found and enjoyed.
It was the chat room where we found our first experience in the swinging scene. we also love reading and posting its only been in the last 6 months where we have posted more.

We are on the shy side of sending messages and more inclined to wait till someone sends us the first message lol and we will reply.

Reading the thread Maryanne posted about a time restriction sounds like a good idea as there can be chat time and there certainly will be post time.

I don't tend to use chat rooms much, but if there was a time restriction so you pretty much knew that you would be online at the same time as the other great people from this forum, I would certainly be tempted to use it more!

Yes I am getting the idea fast that by popular demand we need to find a new chat system fast, but I still want to know has anyone meet someone because they enjoyed the chat and then scored a memorable evening.
The whole idea of this site is for people to meet like minded people while listening to my endless sex education dribble, and my constant Langtrees.com spamming.
I need to know if the members are getting as much return from the site as I do having so many great promotors for my interests.
Just before I leased langtrees one of the new clients I was speaking to just after my return from New York answered when I aked him why he came to langtrees, he said he asked his neighbour who asked his wife who is a forum member and she recommended Langtrees.
I just want some confirmation that members are getting a equal return and meeting new like minded people.... Counts up to 6 posts Loneroad an I don't count, 44 to go by next Monday.

i actually prefer to use msn messenger...you can chat easily and i have had a few hookups cos of chat on there...i have used chat rooms on other forums but you end up in private chat anyway...if im interested in someone on here i would more likely PM them and add them to msn for achat then head into the chat room...but thats me...

Even flew to America in Feb/March to meet a few American girls from them
Never met anyone from the chatroom here though
I use msn too for chat too ... and yahoo...and skype

Geez I'll chat to just about anyone I guess (ladies preferred)

Hi all, I enjoyed the chat room, admittedly it was never as busy as some chat rooms can be, but that has benefits too. I've been in plenty of irc channels where it is just impossible to keep up.
So please count me in the affirmative.

I have met a member on this site through the chat room where we've got to know each other and then swapped msn's and have been having regular lunches for the past year. Also i have spoken to people on chat and able to tell them more about LP's and what goes on there and have been able to get people to attend. I've also met some real d...h...ds on the chat too, but you get that sometimes.

As for meeting someone for a bonk, well it has eventually led to that by the time we get to know each other in chat, swap msn's and then go from there. After all on msn i can use my webcam and see what the person looks like as well. You never know who u might be talking to in chat.

So, although I didn't go into chat that much I would have to say it was beneficial on a few occasions, so I'm for it, but like the idea of keeping it to a short period of time.

I liked the chat. I chatted a lot to a few people on there and although i never met any of them in person (which isn't saying much cos i have actually only met up with 2 people of this site) i had a few memorable experiences. I also got a lot of tips from people on various issues. I enjoyed it

I'm not fussed either way...I chat mostly on msn and if I'm on the forum, I interact in threads...if the chatroom is set up, I agree with restricting it to certain times

I have used chatrooms on two other sites, on one it is used infrequently but on the other used at all times of day and night. this can be useful with the time difference between East and West Coast. As long as it doesn't become too dominated by a single group it can produce useful communication

Id like some sort of chat room, but am not fussed, i dont have the best of memorys and therefore love forums more for i can then read and then reread what people have said.

I can try to help with a chat room idea if you need, or i can also help set up a voice chat. It requires everyone to download a program but people can log on and either type or speak through their microphone, you can have seperate chat rooms as well that you can lock as well, and also if you only want it for certain times of the night all you need to do is change the password so that it is only available for the times you need it.

I like the chat rooms and would like to see it set up here, and I do like the idea of it being time limited. I have been a member of other chat rooms and when they get overcrowded it's impossible to keep up, so 50 is a tall order to ask IMHO. I think as part of the criteria like the time limit, members should be encouraged to meet socially as well so as to expand the community feel of the forum, which might help encourage others to participate more often. So Maryanne please add my vote to the affirmative.

This post is already teaching me for the need, but I still need 50 posts by Sunday and the vote is going well, hopefully one of the moderators will read this and volunteer to do the count and post it up every 2 days. I like the thought of limiting the number that can chat at any one time, when I went in the few times it drive me bonkers trying to keep up with more than 4 thought process.
What number to you think, I think 12-20 is the most that should be allowed in at any one time,
If it becomes popular bound to be able to open a second lounge.

It's good to hear that this is back on the agenda, my only request would be that different software be tried this time. The old Flash-based chat room was quite slow for me. It may be more difficult to install but something like JWChat would be ideal because you can access it from your normal chat/IM program instead of having to have a Web page open. If that or something similar is the product chosen then I can help install.

Hello Everyone.

After much Research I have found a Chatroom
for Langtrees.com & Talking Sex.

I know you will be excited, as it features WEBCAM chats built in,
and it integrates itself with your Vbulletin profile, and can use you AVATAR pic as your chat room avatar.

I need some feedback.
Would any of you Use the Webcam part of the chat - You can set it so its private, or public.

The Entire website would be in FLASH so no additional software
on any specail installations would be required.

The Chat room also has a Streaming Video Player in the Bottom Right
hand corner, which looks like it can be lots of fun.

I'll post a screenshot for you to have a look.

The Video Aspect of the chatroom is a fairly expensive excersise, but if you guys want it, we'll get it. =)
Lets hear from you all.

From the attatchment, you can see an example of user admin_ben, who is sharing his Video, I simply click on his WebCam, and a new box with his picture is loaded. - Also the video in the bottom right hand corner, is the Music video to the song "In the Jungle" =)
