So after reading her advert if I was to text her, she can somehow check my phone number to see if I'm a time waster. Furthermore if I was to send her my mugshot she can check to see if I have been blacklisted.

Think most ask for a photo to see what nationally the punter is, but yes what they could do with your photo and phone number from what I hear on the news is sell it to the data collectors on the dark web.
Think they only get nasty when you wont play is due to not getting that cash, not the

Possibly the 'data bases' they refer to are just the ones punters use like phone number check and photo check.

I'm guessing too if sending a mobile number, photo, then wiring funds that could be a checklist for data farming.
