It was quite muffled but it was a man, with quite a deep intimidating voice, rattling off about public offences and illegal activity and that police scan these sites 24/7 and to remove it immediately and something to do with covid 19 I couldn’t quite hear. It’s the first time it’s happened to me but it did spook me a little, especially it being so long since working on my own again! Maybe a slight over reaction on my part but anxiety lives deep within me 🙄

Hoping it amounts to nothing 🌻

Security has changed quite a bit and you usually have to have access to that person's phone or connected accounts.. And to go to those lengths isn't very common. Let's not frighten the lady.

I know it is easy for me to say but just let it go and ignore it. You have not done anything wrong. There are lots of idiots around and it is easy for them to get all righteous when they are on voicemail or behind a keyboard.

Tania gave some great advice! I am sure there are also many people on here that you could use as a sounding board if something is troubling you.

Welcome to the forum lovely!

As others have said, absolutely no chance it was a Police Officer. They will ALWAYS identify themselves and their rank as well as the station they are calling from.

Personally I'd consider turning voicemail function off if it's a work phone. Ask people to text you if they cant get a hold of you. That way you're not wasting time listening to messages from people whom you wouldn't answer the phone for (private numbers etc).
