It's not illegal. A police officer would have to give his name and details and wouldn't call, they would show up.

The shops can not work that way, so never call and ask.

They are all essentially 'legit' massage shops in usual business locations, so that is all they can really tell you that they offer and the price of such.
And some shops would be most annoyed that you ask, and from their point of view, you could be any local authority asking ...
So anything else has to be a visit and discussed/negotiated, or this forum is about the next best thing.

I would not be worried. Recommend you try Suzies then - it is more massage focussed, manager ( if it’s still same one Jennifer) has high standards and it won’t be too pushy. Just stick to basic extras to start with and just say you want to spend $50 and I’m sure you will be fine
