Does anyone have any tips or tricks to help me stop vaping? I’m really struggling to quit so any advice would be appreciated 😊

I think cold turkey is honestly the best way to go. The patches annoy me. We are no longer allowed vape at Langtrees, so I’m doing 10 hour shifts without one. It’s a start i suppose
When I got with my partner, she was a smoker and I’m not. Gradually smoking around me was restricted until she couldn’t smoke at home. That gradual reduction made the final push to quit easier. One but I’d advice, try and resist to vape st the end of the shift. Gradually you’ll get there. Good luck.

You need to keep that mouth busy doing other things lol. Eating, Sucking Lollies. I smoke for over 40 yrs. Went on patches. But it was that habbit of bringing that hand to mouth. Sucking on that bloody smoke. So I suck lollies. Now fat and old ha ha. You need to keep them lips busy okay. Just Saying. Don't be hard on yourself. You will work things out. Take Care Cheers 🥂🍷🥂

I've never vaped but I did used to smoke.

When I decided to stop smoking I did a course of 12 weeks of patches.

I went to my local chemist and he put me on the program and every Monday morning I would go in and he would have my pack of patches ready for me. 4 weeks on the highest dose. 4 weeks on the mid dose. 4 weeks on the low dose.

I completed the 12 weeks and havent looked back.

Not sure if you can use the patches in the same way when stopping vaping but its worth following up with your chemist.

You got this ;)

I have been through the same. Tried to quit 1million times until I had a conversation with a mate who is a mentor at narcotics anonymous. He told me to keep vaping, just not today. Tomorrow I could vape again. But tomorrow I would say the same thing. That mindset and 2 weeks of patches. Been of them for years now. One day at the time….

Allen Carr's Easy Way to Stop Vaping has a pretty high success rate for anyone trying to give up vaping. You can buy the book or audio book or go to a group session.

The group sessions are usually 5 or 6 hours. They have breaks through out the session in which you are free to vape. The primary goal of the group session is to remove all desire to vape and without the withdrawal symptoms. You walk out of the session vape free.

The worlds worst vices to quit are all legal products..

Alcohol
Cigarettes and now

I’ve heard amazing things about this!

It does work, but you really need to want to give up vaping. Maybe buy the book or the audio book. If you prefer a group session, it does come at a cost however its still a small price to pay for your health. They have 2 free follow up sessions if you need them and plus a money back guarantee. So you dont really have anything to lose only the vape.

Anyone caught vaping there is banned....

In all seriousness, and I know it sounds trite, but in my experience the most effective method is to decide to stop, and then just stop cold turkey. I know several people who have ended nicotine and even stronger addictions this way and never went back to them.

You will get cravings but when you do just remind yourself why you decided to stop (health, money, family etc), and do something else to stop you thinking about it. In time the cravings will go away.
