Misfits is all manner of fucked up, but still a lot of fun. I was disappointed when Nathan left the show, but Rudy does a pretty good job filling the episodes with humour.

1) Hitler did not create the VW beatle.........it was Ferdinand Porsche who tried to design a car affordable by the average German in pre-war Germany.

so........2) the original VW was actually a Porsche.

3) An entire city was created for the bug. In the late 30ies the Nazi party commissioned an architect to design a brand new city which incorporate normal life around the new car factory (VW). It will cease production in Brazil, the only place in the world where it is being made, as it is too difficult to redesign and retool to meet required safety standards. We should ask all you boys and girls who lost your virginity on a mattress in the back of a Kombi parked at a beach reserve after sunset to share a dream about your partner at the time.

Rochelle, you would have fitted the surfie culture perfectly. Beautiful, blonde, athletic!

Ohhhhhhh how sad. I do have very fond memories of the VW Kombi and certainly of the mattress going with it. My first and only one was black and broke down on a Europe trip between Paris and the German border. Never mind. Road side ass. fixed it but not until I signed up for a member ship which ended up being more expensive than the repair costs.

LOL.......thanks Haste69, I only need a surf board on the roof of my VW (won't fit inside) and off I go.........unfortunately I am so not a water person...... :/
