Tash is campaigning to end a industry that I make a living from with a cool well thought strategy but she will fail because Firstly people will not give up consuming what I produce , The second thing is my customers live overseas and have never heard of her .
What Tash and her fellow travellers will succeed in doing is to force the industry they oppose to weed out some bad Apples to maintain the worlds best practise ,something we already have.
And by the way she is less bothersome to the base of the meat industry than some of the people conducting illegal raids and thuggery that one day may lead to a armed confrontation between people on opposing sides of the issue .

I think that Tash has an agenda - and good luck to her, I don't think she will have much of an impact on the wide omnivore Oz population, but I wish she wouldn't disrupt people's livelihoods and cause distress to kids watching on.

Excellent post Farm Boy... I think you're bang on the money there mate ....
I also think that she's helped promote the issues to many who were previously unaware of the problems with, and continued use of, some unsustainable practices as well as depth of the environmental issues we face (never mind the animal cruelty that still exists for some products in the market).
Whilst her methods have a lot less impact on reputable producers (like yourself no doubt) when compared to those militant nut-jobs that are intent on disruption and chaos rather than just protesting (with tits), it's a shame that her methods are "game" for the commercial mainstream media who do an excellent job of triggering and polarising the less intelligent amongst us. Still, there will always be those people unable to think objectively, nor capable of even considering alternate views - the very same lowest common denominators that slow down the overall "human herd" I feel (pun intended).....
