How many Adelaidens?

Plenty of choices in Christies Beach, if you don't mind a little drive, @ozwarlock67 .

My Adelaide treasure Miss Monique is at Elizabeth. To get to hers, it's a good ninety minutes. To me, that's " little drive".

Last time I clicked on Gentle Kat's website, she had moved from Sellicks back to Aldinga, but had now "retired", something she has done before when she was known as Soft Autumn.

I did my apprenticeship in a little factory across the road from the coke factory. Just across from the lights.
There were a few little factories around that vicinity. I did leave Adelaide a long time ago,,over 30 years. I'm hanging to go back for a visit (I have family there) and to go to a few places I remember so well. I really hope the big horse is still in the hills, if not I will be devo. Omg and Bonython park. My friends and I used to go to the tip, up near South road, build a bike each then ride it down the mega slide at Bonython. Then whoever had the least injuries got to ride the next bike we built (with the bits that didn't break from the 1st ride down) down and so on until we couldn't build another that day. We used to swim in the river too, at Bonython and behind the brewery (I'm surprised we are alive 😂🤣).
And I used to love the Botanic Gardens. I spent a lot of time there just relaxing and stopping to smell the roses. Oh so many memories 😎

Used to live at Aldinga Beach for some years, before the rail extension to Seaford. Now living in the northern suburb.
There are many choices in the southern suburbs, mostly Asian establishments though.

Thank-You Folks for sharing your memories.
From the South suburbs to the Northern suburbs and the Western heartland.
For the record I was a western kid, raised, played and work, now I am in the North.

I will say this.... Adelaide is the best city in Australia..... it makes no noise because of that fact!

Yeah, it depends how you want to live your life. I'm Adelaide born and bred, wouldn't live anywhere else. I've lived in the eastern suburbs all my life, affordable housing (You can live in a great house 3 kilometres from the city for the cost of a place 20 kilometres out of Sydney), and I'd walk to and from work in the city. I only use my car about 3 days a week. Many people crap on about nightlife, there's plenty of it, it's just people from other states don't know where it is :)

There is a good reason why the sex industry is the way it is there... not because of the churches.. its because Adelaide folks like to go out and try to pick up still..
