Years ago when our local Bon Scott tribute band was playing there. I think it was not long after there had been several firearm incidents around that locality.

Strangely it seemed like any other suburban pub and there was no trouble.

I see. I was up near Golden Grove . near the Village shopping centre.. nice area. Great to keep fit in, as there are loads of hills to walk up and down.

Not many places in Adelaide I have not been to.. nor many top class places to eat either... too add to this.. I am a East Rundle Mall person NOT a west Rundle Mall one... only Adelaide folk get that..

Gelnelg is my favourite always liked how they spelt it backwards on the tram.
 
Adelaide is great... No rush hour, service stations are all open 24/7, Same as bakeries, and its a nice city to walk around with loads of parkland near by, nice weather, sometimes it can be too hot, winters not bad, eating out is wunderbar.

Where do you get the idea there's no rush hour?
Even without the constant roadworks, peak travel is generally done at a crawl.

There is none... I used to do Golden Grove to the City and south of the city every day, and loved it... people whinged there OH the traffic was horrendous.. well I have lived in Sydney and Europe and the traffic there is horrendous NOT adelaide...... plus people in Adelaide unlike in Sydney don't do rat runs.. they stick the the main roads...
