Everyone can still post, but they will all go into one thread and will not be resorted back when we end. We have so much shit in this forum that it's time for a cleanup. The interactive members that have scratched my back is what I mean when I say 250 posts.
This forum was started for education, which rarely happens now, and I can do that on Langtrees.com BLOGS so I'll make talkin sex more specific to the Asian market that the members like.

True Not many posts that educate even less posting of positive experiences and a lot of trolling for Intell .

It said it wrong; it will be for all industries, but we will make a special forum for Asian lovers, and they will have to have 25 reasonable posts to get into it. We will moderate more new users for up to 25 posts, and we will discourage the ones that talk shit and should be banned.
My fantastic members can have a private board that they moderate, and you have to be invited to join. All this is a lot of work, which is why I will hide the process from all except our exceptional members, and it won't be purely post numbers. When we do it, we will send out a PM to all, and if they reply, we can up their permissions; this will not be to me. Jo has been studying forum management for a year. If he likes your reply, he will add me, and then I will make final approvals.
I am not trying to oust anyone just get a fair return from the service providers that use the forum as their primary advertising every thing has a cost. We have a great member, Amelia. I gave her 2 years on Langtrees.com while getting established. Now, she has to pay $1 a day, which is seven $$$ a week; she told Kate I am not paying. I hope I don't get kicked off the forum. She won't be kicked off, but she will lose features like advertising her phone number and a link to another advert, and you won't be able to send her private messages. I think it was fair when she told me that Langtrees.com was number two for getting quality bookings quickly.
Nothing in life is FREE and unless we close access we will never get it cleaned up properly.

I have never used this platform for advertising, I've used it to give advice and help people and contribute. The amount of help I've offered to new workers and clients isn't to benefit me its to help others who don't have the knowledge I do. So throwing me under the bus doesn't sit well with me. The only advertisement on the platform for me is the one posted by yourselves. I don't advertise myself here. Even the banner that I can't see that comes up whenever I post. I can't even see this I've had people screenshot and send to me because I don't have a clue what they are on about and I've screenshotted to them what I see.

Langtrees is not number two for getting quality bookings, that makes zero sense im a business why would I stop funding my number two advertising platform? In 2024 I recieved several enquires from langtrees and one resulted in a booking for the entire year. I have to put my money where I get the bookings. I'm happy to support new advertising such as platinum silk, roladex and langtrees to grow but I can't pump money into platforms that don't bring me a return, the same as any business would do the same.

I track where all my enquires come from in the very first message I ask where they found my ad. I have accurate stats to ensure I'm putting money to the right platforms that work for me (platforms work differently for everyone)

I didn't say this just to Kate about not being on here anymore I actually posted it on the forum for everyone to see.

Anyway.. this post has left a bitter taste in my mouth all I've ever done is try and give advice and help people.

This has never been my advertising platform and if it has I've done a terrible job at using it as that.

I'd happily pay a subscription for this, it's been invaluable as well as fun in my punting, but payment methods are the challenge as the wonderful AK mentions above but I reckon if cash is involved, it could be done.
Two or three afternoons or nights a year at LT could be 'Subscription Nights' ... drinks & nibbles, games, shows?

I just have no idea why I've been called out, literally the only name mentioned when I never have used this forum as a way to self - promote or advertise. I saw it as a way of giving back to the community, helping out where I could to provide info from either the SW point of view or helping new SWs who don't yet know the industry. Oh well.

With all do respect, we are the consumers. We should not be paying to use it. This forum is an advertising site for the providers.

@Mrs Langtrees has put together a great resource for the WA punter. While Amelia may have only received one client from the Langtrees advertising (which I agree is clunky, not easy to use and I rather use other sites) it seems like she gets a lot of repeat clients from using the forum.

Asking providers to pay just $1 to keep this forum running does not sound a lot at all. That's $365 a year or just one half hour client. I found her on here and then looked up her ad elsewhere. From the reviews it seems like a lot of others have as well.

Imagine if this place had a few private providers who were willing to pay to be on here and show us their personality. We would be able to continue this helpful community.

Well they don't really apart from the first three months. After making a number of initial posts it is forever free.

I never said i rated PP I was giving an example of another forum and a suggestion around paying. As people kindly pointed out it wouldn't work for discretion purposes.

Good reviews and feedback around services provided, photo accuracy and provider ages. This is the punters themselves creating content which brings in more eyeballs.

The other part is good engagement with service providers and establishment operators - people like Fifi, Amelia K, Miss Monique, Aha Craigie/Clarkson who all engage happily with punters (and for AMPs, we also get handy roster updates).

I understand that MAK is running this as a business, and is looking to optimise the service.

I think keeping an engaged set of punters and service providers who contribute will generate content which attracts people to the site, and generate views for advertisers - hopefully with a higher than average conversion rate. I don’t know the background underlying costs of hosting and moderation, but good contributors - providers or punters - add value to the site and add value for advertisers.

MAK has spent her time, money and effort on the site - I am hopeful the changes improve things for the LT team, advertisers and us. Fingers crossed! It’s been great so far.

Actually MM, you need to take a step back, review AK's reply and your response to AK and see whether your response and personal attacks on her were appropriate. AK responded politely to you and made no personal or derogatory comments about yourself. AK has conducted herself with respect and decency and you instead came out with guns blazing. There was no "aggression" or "diva attitude" from AK. Ironically, the aggression was from you. Frankly, it was your response that was ugly and uncalled for. You should privately apologise to AK. Maybe you had a bad day which is still no excuse.

Agree. This is a space free for punters to gather and share information. It should be appealing for providers to join in and create business opportunities.

Any business would fall over themselves to be involved in a community with 100s of potential clients with cash burning thrir pockets looking for the service they provide. Especially if ithe cost for 12.months was the same as the price of a 30 min job. I just don't know why they would baulk at $1 a day.

This place is appealing because it doesn't have the misogyny of PP.

The good news is that we are going to overhaul this forum, which will now have only two state sections, Adelaide and Perth, and a small general section.

The bad news is that the forum will be closed to all members with less than 250 posts while we are doing this. Only about 6 forums will remain public while we do this.
Once it is back and running again, you cannot access anything until you update your profile.

Threads and posts that are to old will be deleted.
It will be a primary forum for lovers of Asian massage as we now prefer the blogs on Langtrees.com

The bad news: The overhaul will take us at least 4 weeks. We will have 10 spots for Asian houses to advertise, and the cost will be $50 per week and must be paid 13 weeks in advance.
Those 10 houses will get premium positions and be allowed to add their daily rosters.
One new forum I will put up for the forum members is Bitch to Mrs Langtrees here; that way, I can get rid of the dick heads at the same time.
I am happy to take well-written differences of opinion; they are helpful, and you can start, but I am investing $10,000 in this upgrade.
All club 100 members who are members of Langtrees.com and the forum will be permitted to view the upgrades as we go, as most of them have done that to help me personally, and I appreciate it.
This was my second new years resolution hopefully it will all happen next Saturday afternoon.
