Couple of thick, old books from a second hand store.... cut out a hollow in the middle leaving edges intact, hide money, pile books in the corner of a messy cupboard nobody would check.
In the bottom of an airtight dogfood container covered in dog food, even better if you have a dog.
Scoop out half a tub of icecream to make room for freezer bags of cash, layer icecream on top and freeze.

I duct tape my cash to the bottom of my yellow wheelie bin. I live alone, you see… barely filling it up once per month.

Two stories on hiding money. My late father put $10,000( old paper style) under a planter box in the entrance of his house. Mum used to water the plants until dad went to get the money, mum spent the entire day ironing and drying 50 and 20 dollar notes. When l got paid that day and went to deposit it at the bank the teller queried as to why the cash smelled funny and musty.
My uncle buried money 20k l believe in plastic irrigation pipe in his front paddock of his hobby farm. He decided to burn off some long grass and ended up with a flat lump of melted cash.
