I think for everyone's interest, it's best not to name any shops for the time being. Till this blows over<hopefully>. Talkinsex use to be a safe place for punters and WLs to discuss each others interest.

Now we don't know if the next person reading our post is part of the news, local council or police. ( Also i think thats why the local rosters are gone)

I pray things will die down< same in the total local covid cases in WA> after a few months.

The numbers are coming in now slowly, ppl can't avoid it.( To the ppl that didn't sigh in or used a fake name) Now there's 51 active cases from the 3 shops mentioned.

Is it really, as this is my continuing argument at home.
Is it really 51 cases from 3 shops?

Because I'm saying it is 51 from the Cockburn cluster, of which some are connecting with the shop worker and the 3 shops, and others of that 51 from elsewhere.
Perhaps makes no difference now - but the focus does seem to be off the sensationalised aspect of massage shops now, and just concentrating on it as the Cockburn cluster and other clusters (and none of which are north of the river?)

Im not sure either, just quoting the news statistics. Considering... it is possible< theory here> that combined actual numbers are in the 3 digit range across a week. We still have 1 and half weeks to be out of the woods, for possible new cases.

But that can change if we have ignorant punters that have been to these places and still decide to punt. Then cases will keep growing from double to triple digits per day.

Not sure, they might appear eventually. As cases are linked to areas and it's all still coming in.

no it was from the gateway shopping centre. There are at least 4 shops mentioned in the reports including woolies. It was a coulpe of weeks back now. 4 massage shops mentioned are New U, U Nat, Comfort and Beauty Escape in Bassendean (monitor for symptoms warning only on that one).
 
The Cockburn cluster started when the daughter who picked up her mother from airport (who had been in Tasmania). Daughter, mother and I believe father who were all in the same house caught COVID. Daughter carrying the 'germs' inadvertently spread it at Cockburn Gateway before being diagnosed. It is believed one of the ladies at U Natural caught it at Cockburn and then it spread to clients and to the other shops.

How I thought they had worked it was that was the original Cockburn location of the person picking their mum up from the airport, then home for isolation, someone was a positive case - and everyone else in the household went about normal business, one of which among others was worker to massage shop, and so on, so everything connected there is being treated as the Cockburn cluster - even though linked shop cases may be from Applecross, Mt Lawley, Osborne Park or wherever else.

At least in the border delay announcement, they recognise now that if someone is in home isolation, then the entire occupants of that house must also be in isolation.
Oh wow, rocket science.

Your rights and freedoms? You seem to forget that any "rights and freedoms" you have at all are by being a part of the society in which you live, and that includes the rules that dictate that society. All you're whining about is a new inconvienance. You don't steal, you don't murder, you don't rape, you pay your bills, you throw your garbage in the bins that you dutifily roll out to the street to be picked up, you wear your seatbelt and you pull out your government issued ID whenever it is required of you, among the literally hundreds of other things you do that if you were all about your "rights and freedoms" you wouldn't comply with. Not to even begin to mention the fact that you use the internet. Polio, measles, smallpox, all required a vaccination - a mandated one - because that's what's required to curb, or eradicate, a disease. Sadly stupidity isn't so easily taken care of.
