Apart from financial support, some of the homeless people may need other supports i.e mental health or addiction.
If it is purely for companionship, are we taking advantage of these people because of their current circumstances and conditions?
Also, in some cases it may need alot of effort and patient to form a relationship. Without the proper support training, it may cause more harm than good.
