Go to Locanto and search for the terms rubberless service.. and see how many hits... I know of two places in perth where a person could walk in and ask for this for an addtional $50 hit to a clients wallet. This rubberless service is rife in Artarmon in North Sydney for the same reasons, and yes there was Australian parlors there too... so its just not Asians but local women too in this caper.

Absolutely. Indeed, the 2018 research includes this statement:
"a LOWER proportion of Asian respondents (respondents born in an Asian country) reported that all or most clients requested oral sex without condoms (23%) compared to non-Asian respondents (49% ...)" [my emphasis]

Probably had to change name again, pretty sure they were mixed up with that big bust recently with over 100 mobiles ceased. I personally have no respect for this company as they pay asian ladies one price and Australian ladies a higher price, this is discrimination plus they freely promote unsafe sex practices for their workers . One day hopefully we will get law in WA where they can stop bad operators like this from operating.

Well you can stick with your on-line research which is about equal value with anecdotes. Real world data demonstrate that despite oral without a condom being standard fare in the UK and most European countries, sex workers do not have higher rates of STIs from oral sex than anywhere else. It is not an issue that troubles the NHS or the authorities in those countries.

The risks are higher but I think it is over egged by some that post here. Do you have data which demonstrate that STIs with sex workers has risen in Australia over the past decade? I doubt that it, and even so, can you isolate any increase solely due to an increase in oral sex without condom? Not a chance.

TBH I would be far more concerned with penetrative sex with out a condom, that is where the risks increase significantly. However given that real world effectiveness of condoms is around 87%, I'm surprised that you partake in this industry at all.

Its funny how everyone thinks STI/STD etc etc. BUT not pregnancy which is the gift the keep on giving, where as a STD/STI can normally treated with a good dose of anti-biotics.. so well said.

The research was conducted by Linda Selvey, from the School of Public Health, The University of Queensland and
Jonathan Hallett, from the School of Public Health, Curtin University, WA. It involverd a survey of 354 sex workers in WA.
