So, here is my "take"....
Vivian says that she likes "persistent guys". Of course she does. No offense, but Vivian is a business lady. Her business thrives on repeat orders. She simply must get her customers to keep coming back because it is so hard to find new customers every day. Common sense.
To get customers to return and keep returning, the customers must want to return and the only way a customer will want to return, in this industry, is if they are or perceive they are getting something extra, or something the other customers aren't.
So, a little bit of teasing on the first visit, with a hint that something extra might be available next time.
A little more the next time, with the same hint. The girls would work it up; or string it out as long as they can, perhaps charging a little extra for a little EXTRA.
We punters are culled into thinking that out persistence is paying off, when in fact we are paying out.
Why do you think we are called punters.
Now to Yoda's idea of playing it cool. In the real world, playing hard to get is a well used method of calculated attraction and will work, as long as there is actually mutual attraction. If not, then you are just making a fool out of yourself. You have to have something a girl wants; whether that is a nice smile, long flowing locks, a big dick, or lots of money (some of us have all of these).
As elmer fudd said, Almost all problems are solved with money.
Now if you have money and look like Brad Pitt, you are likely to be able to play hard to get.
If you look like Brad and have no money, get persistent. It should pay off.
If you have no money and the sex appeal of Barron Vladimir Harkonnen, then perhaps you need to steal yourself into trying to be persistent.... but it wont work. Your fucked.
If you look like the Barron, you need the money.
