You've asked the question, so I'll give my response.
Firstly, we are all different, approach things differently, and so on, and the world is a much better place for it.
From my personal view -
I see myself as a bit older, and was raised in a family and a world of politeness, courtesy and respect.
If I go to a clearly legit 9am to 5pm massage shop, I always politely ask their rules or preferences, and am happy with any answer, since in the 1st instance I'm going for a massage. I never walk into an unknown shopping centre massage shop, rip all my clothes off, lay on the table and wait for a shocked response. Just my comfort level and the way I was brought up I guess ... that and passing no resemblance to Brad Pitt also has a bit to do with it.
On the other, when I visit any 10am to 10pm massage shop I'm usually told to get in the room and take all my clothes off before I've even had a chance to open my mouth.
But we all approach it in our own way.

I get what you are saying, and agree as I was brought up in a fairly strict/conservative family with similar values probably but the question is... if you are going to a legitimate massage place why does it matter if you can go nude - nothing is going to happen.
 
Because there is a fair chance that a number of the legitimate workers in the legitimate shops would find it a bit uncomfortable, so for me it is courteous to check first.
And also particularly for those that have undertaken some training where that was not what they've usually encountered, and for younger ones who too may find it a bit concerning what may be expected of them.
Just me, but I am more comfortable asking in these environments.
 
I visited her today. Looks wise I agree with rickman. I dont think the photos are real, she is on the curvy side. Slightly above average massage. FS is definitely on the table, maybe selectively like rickman said.

While I have never gone to a legit place with the intention of getting extras, or gone nude in one when it wasn't offered, I have had extras given at a couple "strictly" legit places by all accounts of appearance and reputation (Bigfoot being the most notable). What I can say is that it's a bit nice to have it unexpectedly because you feel like you either connected well with someone on a personal level and they wanted to offer it, or found you attractive and wanted to offer it. I've never been asked to pay for the extras I got at legit places but I always tried to as respectfully as possible offer something without trying to cheapen it or offend them. I had one woman who said she wasn't a prostitute when I offered but throughout our talking she had told me she was traveling home in not too long so I asked her to take something as a gift for her travel expenses instead.

So I think that might be part of the mindset, kind of a little personal boost that maybe you were special in some way and were offered something that normally isn't.

That's my take on it anyway having had a few experiences of it.
 
Agree with the last two responses so maybe my communication is off tonight.

The point I was making was if you go somewhere that is reported as legitimate then assume you will be wearing underwear during the massage. If it feels ok when you are in the shop then ask if undies are on or off during the the massage - in a respectful way.

she allowed both for me, and when i say allowed she initiated but its probably when she feels comfortable so i cant guarantee the same for everyone

I ventured there the other day. No extras offered because the boss was on site. But I believe there would be had he not been there.
Great massage though!!
 
So I went and tried out Astor Arcade today...

Got there early afternoon without booking. Its a tiny little shop. Lucky to be 15m2. Only 2 booths. 3/4 high walls with pull curtains across doors.
Only 1 girl working. Went with $70 1hr option. Didnt say anything about undies so did my usual and went nude with towel over lower half. Rooms are very small but nicely appointed. Sheets and towels covered massage tables with disposable face coverings and pillow around the hole for face.

She came in, pulled towel down to expose butt and upper thighs and started work. Ive been pretty sore so was looking for a good massage, and I have to say I wasnt disappointed. Very good massage. She knows whats shes doing. Asked for medium and pressure was perfect. Excellent use of oil as well. Didnt slather it on, just right amount. My left shoulder/arm has been tight and aching recently and she managed to find the right spots without prompting. Even said "its sore here isnt it?" when she got to the spots. And once found she spent a good 5mins working on each one. Really loosened it up....felt great!

Got talking. Said her name is Ceci.im not good with nationalities or age, but asian and mid/late 20's. New shop she runs with a friend. She works 3 days and her friend the other 3. No idea what happens day 7, but they offer 4 hand massage for $110 1hr so maybe its then. Said yesterday was steady but today had been quiet.
Massage going well. All been top half so far. Towel comes completely off and starts lower half. Its all been very professional up to this point with a wonderful massage. Starts working legs. Same standard massage so all good. At this point Im thinking its just legit.

Then the tease started :)

No mistake. Definitive rub, stroke, play with perineum and even 1 hand reach under and 1 around side play. Felt great. Experienced hands. Was asked if ok? Think I blurted out "hell yeah!" ;)

Tease was slow and lasted good 2-3 mins before I was given menu. Everything on it. Im not a FS guy at these places so went with nude bbj. Wont give price but much less than I expected. I however tipped over quoted price as appreciation for quality service given. Extras were unrushed, sensual and performed in varvious positions. She has wonderful nipples. After finishing she gave another 5min massage which took us overtime but didnt seem to matter.

"Ceci" must have been working before this. Too good to not have been, so maybe shes left a shop and started out on own. I dont know. Others who would be more "travelled" than I could probably confirm.

I can highly recommend. $110 1hr 4 hand massage is almost a must now!

Word of caution tho. Shop very very small. If wanting FS theres limited room for positions and there would be no way to avoid hearing whats going on in next booth.

Massage 9/10 (up there with Glengarry)
Looks 7/10 (not a stunner, but cute face and I enjoyed her nipples)
Extras 9/10( very happy with what I chose)
