Now that I am retired, I always ask ladies what is their quietest day, and book on that day.
I have several reasons :
It means I am not being squashed in and have to get out at the prescribed time to allow the next punter in.
Because I can go at almost any time, I am not taking up her business time when others who can only go at those times want to book. So she gets their business as well as mine.
Ladies are usually more relaxed on quieter days, and so we have a better time than when they are stressed.
If my booking is later in the day, they are not exhausted from the parade of previous punters.
After my booking we can sometimes sit and chat - and several times I have been offered coffee and we have chatted for a while.
Quiet days are good. Usually week days.
