I hope Snowy that all goes well with your back treatments mate! As a bad back suffer myself I completely understand how much pain you are experiencing and just how bad that makes you feel when you cannot do the most simplest thing without adding more pain to the mix. I had to get rid of my petrol lawnmower for an electric one recently for that very reason.

Yani owns two shops one in Como and one in South Perth. The South Perth shop has become legit in recent times, the Como shop is/was closer to to traditional AMP. Although, prices have gone up, 1hr massage is $95, and a 90min massage is $145. New prices may reflect the shift to more legit operations.

i too just wanted a massage cause of a tired aching back, so i went to my local AMP where i did have one or six good times before, and it is 10 minutes walk from my house and the massage was always very good, hard and soothing i guess for lack of a better word.
After each massage and extras i got, the WL in question was always so friendly etc.
That was until one time i just wanted a massage, no extra just massage. Got the massage, im feeling good, cause it was a good massage, then the question, what extra you like.
Well, her demeanor changed when i said, no extra, i just needed a massage.
Remember she was always friendly before, but not that day, no hug, no touchy feely, nothing.. well that was 2 years ago now and as i walked home, i thought, well not going back there again, even though it is 10 minutes from my house.

i now go out of my way to see the ones that treat me right. and also if i need a massage i see a legit one now, which i found some months after that episode.

The first AMP I visited was on recommendation of female friend who also visited for massage.

This place was about massage with very little extra on offer.

Many were students trying to earn a few extra dollars for rent etc, not easy for some. I remember one young girl who was upset because her studies didn’t go well and no visa extension, great massage and just HJ.

Landscape has changed this year less competition from younger masseuses so some are cashing in while they can.

Just got to try and think with head not pants.

Annoyingfor those of you have bad service too often.

I agree fully with you Snowy in fact never been back to an AMP since my bad experience there last year. The covid has a bit to do with any opportunities but certainly a place to miss.

Straight up 'Snowy', I can't say I know of many AMP ladies who are pleased to receive male customers that aren't interested in undertaking some form of "extras" services ... the non-participating male is equivalent to the stray female customer, in that no AMP girl wants to be the one who scores the lady customer. It's really only the Mamasan who gets any benefit in attending to the non-extras client, in that she - on behalf of her shop - collects the whole time fee.

I've pretty much now confined my non-naughty periods of massage to Piyawat Thai Massage in Victoria Park and Belmont ... I get undivided, undisturbed attention for my hour (or 90 minutes, or 120 minutes) of competent massage, and a discount on every fourth massage session.

So, to be accurate here, I'm assuming your displeasure described above relates to Collins Health Massage located at U15/16, 113 Collins Rd, Willetton ... is this correct ???

Yes that's the place, but just to be a bit more clearer to everyone, I never said that I wasn't interested in extras just had to see how it goes, because things do happen if the lady has the right touch, if you know what I mean, pain or no pain the other head takes over most of the time.
Unfortunately Donna was good looking, pretty with fairly good figure, but a shit attitude at the end.
Sorry to everyone who took the time to read my long review but I was really pissed off with how I was treated, feels like you have to vent your anger sometimes to calm down after a bad experience,& for me it sort of turned the clock back to 5 or 6 years ago when many parlors didn't care about getting return customers.

Hello mate, I agree totally but sometimes we think it can only get better, but for me it got worse, & the problem is that you have already handed over some of your money, very hard to get any back if your walking out, especially if they have already started the massage.
Totally Relax is opposite Walkin Massage which is just down from TBC.

Angary indeed! Similar things happened to me from time to time. 98% of AMPs outside shopping centres now are only offering extras and FS for quick $. Girls there don't want to give massage (or not know) and don't have to do as long as they are appealing (not for me though). Good massage comes first. Lucky enough, I found a place to go and have a proper care now. For a proper treatment, may better to go to shops with HICAPS or shopping centres. AMPs just for fun but not always.

And still wondering, how come AMPs and private services have been increasing in number dramatically throughout the past 10 years? Obviously, they have more than enough supports.

Probably because of lonely old horny guys like me, lol.

And then the other problem now eventuates is that people then flock to places like TBC which on this forum punters state provide a great experience, but in recent weeks are now experiencing problems due to overbookings etc. And calling yourself a 'health massage' one would expect some sort of massage if an unsuspecting punter walked in. It's a bit like Studio 205 (now Ada Rose) was called at one stage Fremantle Fitness Studio which was reported many years ago a young lady in keep fit gear walked in thinking it was a gym and was greeted by a few ladies in lingerie.

I have attended sites and have seen staff arguing on who is going to do the job, knowing full well there is no "extras"....
I have said to many staff, the sign out the front does say "massage"... so you must at least have to perform this service as advertised...
Anything else,,,, is up to you and your negotiating skills. You do have to take the good with the bad, its a part of business.
I have seen many try to go private or work for full service shops... But they always come back to a AMP.

But... what Snowy experienced is in the top 10 worst jobs I have heard.
I too have had spinal surgery so I can walk again, and there is a spot on my back that I don't want anyone to touch.

55 minutes out of every hour I'm on my back to stretch the pain away, can't even stand on my feet for more than 1 minute before the pain kicks in, not even enough time to make myself a cup of coffee, life sucks at the moment, my back isn't really the problem not much pain where I hit the cement, it's the nerve pain in my right hip down to my toes.

Capitalistic business services are full of rubbish. Lack of regulation and poor responses to complaint systems will likely continue. Business costs with GST support reasonable charges.

@Snowy, there are a few private ladies around that will give you a great massage and not push for extras even though they are available. If you just want the massage and to build a rapport for a future massage when you would be interested in more then try that option. Again, May May at Thai Thai day spa would also be a great option.

Highly recommend Hong at XY. She will work right into the spots and left happy. She does an awesome sensual massage as well or mixture if you need. But have to tell her from the beginning what you need and like. Otherwise, she would assume you go for a professional treatment and made her own treatment plan before the session start. Don't have to worry about whatever other stuff at all. Not her cup of tea. She is there just for helping people. Suggest give her a call and see what she says. Then you can decide if go for a session with her. Hope all sorted soon.
