I am only relatively new to the punting scene so can't really comment on the past years but I think that sites like this help us to do the research and find the gems that Mrs L says are out there.

I think the issue of switching in the Asian market is a real problem, but because of the price point they choose to do it and must still make money based on volume. The ladies and their handlers are now more tech savvy as well and they jump around between places and change names all the time, so it is hard to keep track of them.

This is true in the AMP market as well but I have found some gems in both and tend to keep going back to ones I know are good. It helps if you can get the ladies mobile number or wechat/whatsap id so you can bypass the handler when they do move if they are not independents.

At least at Langtrees you know what you are going to get and while the price point is a bit higher you are paying for the experience and the quality of the ladies and it is less of a "punt" with Mrs L's quality controls.

But a few of the Caucasian girls I've seen have been similar to what I've been noticing in Asian girls. There are, of course, exceptions, but they seem to be the rare find instead of the general rule - in the past the opposite seemed to be the case - most appointments were fantastic with the odd one being a disappointment.

Anyway, not sure what thoughts anyone may have on this? Have you noticed a shift in attitude over the years? I would appreciate your thoughts. Mrs Langtrees suggested I post this....

While I do agree that a change in attitude has been gradually happening, I also agree with Mrs Langtrees in that we are all getting older and perhaps remember the past with more fondness. This maybe because it was at the time we started punting, so all new and exciting.

There is one other thing to consider, though. That is the economy that has been lagging for a few years now. In the old days, there was more money around and plenty of clients to part with it. As the economy changed, clients dried up and ladies wanted to charge more to meet the shortfall of what they were accustomed to. We, the punters, were not particularly happy about that and began voting with our feet. This may have pissed off the ladies and might have contributed to their attitude.

There are gems around who still engage with their clients. These ladies have developed their regulars and provide a shit hot service.
There are others, who enter the game to make a quick buck and quickly become jaded. The industry has always attracted these two extremes and always will. The career working ladies are always a safe bet, but they usually come with a respectable price-tag. The fly-by-nights think they can be all that and do not react well to criticism. Hence the attitude problem.

Now, I could advise to stick to the career ladies, but reality is that a more mature aged working lady is not quite so visually appealing as a young nubile 20 something with long legs, long hair, pearly white teeth and a super flat stomach, even if us punters are all starting to look like Jabba the Hut.

Bottom line: Yes, there seems to be an attitude problem, but we are also changing and have different expectations.
 
O yer I totally agree Michael those countries aren't 3rd world just our currency was stronger(1 AU- 1.1 US) years back that made punting more often & enjoyable overseas better value so to say. My bad I didn't say which countries are third world sg, msia and jp aren't 3rd world but you know a few that are with their dollar value really bad just didn't want to name them.

Yes we do have gems over here and another thing we agree about, but if there's a way to make more money they are doing it through extras. Doesn't help when you've been overseas and seen the difference in service & pricing compared to Australia, where as a non- traveller won't know. But that's our economy now, and getting value for money is equal to paying more for what you want.

Punts in the past were more frequent so if you had a bad punt there's always more punting in that wk, but now we're reduced to selective punting once or twice a wk if you paycheck allows. The change of times.
