I think the comment was more about long established places with Australian workers than the run of the mill AMP of today, many of them had been around for a very long time.
Younger guys wouldn’t have seen the changes over the past 10, 15 or 20 years with the Asian invasion that we have had.
Once upon a time all the working girls were locals or Euro backpackers, now the market is saturated with Asian imports that dominate the market.
It is very much a different scene today than what it was in 2000 but almost every industry can say the same.

I have noticed that in 2 girl visits in AMP’s, one of them generally acts as receptionist for walk ins & phone calls. It’s a real turn off.
