I got phone call from Donezk city.Mr Poroshenko ( Ukrainian President) signed peace agreement just a few days ago. And after that, 3 more childern being killed by Ukrainian military. Yesterday. Obviously, this war keep going because someone ( and I blame USA) wants it to keep going. So, USA can get rid of weapons from Polish warehouses..

Not sure if something like this could be effective in Canberra or if we'd just end up with an even more erratic government, frustrated by not being able to get their regular BDSM ( and let's face it most of them are kinky f*ckers) fix?

There’s a country-wide strike going on in Spain right now, against the government’s austerity cuts. And one surprising group that’s participating: the country’s prostitutes, who say they won’t have sex with the country’s bankers until they “fulfill their responsibility to society” and begin offering better loans to struggling Spaniards.

The initiative was put into place by Madrid’s prostitute trade association, which claims, “We are the only ones with a real ability to pressure the sector.” The strike has been on for four days, and said one participating prostitute, “We don’t think they can withstand much more.”

The women came up with the idea after one of the association’s members pressured one of her regular banker clients to grant a loan by going on a sex strike.

The sex worker strike — if it’s real — is going on in conjunction with a Spanish general strike. Several major unions, including air traffic controllers, train and bus drivers, are participating, pushing Spain’s economy to a grinding halt. [Daily Mail]

If countries like Spain Greece etc weren't so generous /populist,
I mean it looks like paying tax was more or less optional in Greece,
There wouldn't be a need for these austerity measures now

If the girls go on strike the men will survive (if Mrs Palmer doesn't also go on strike)
If the bank staff pension department staff shopkeepers go on strike people could starve or become homeless

Not a leader that has the best interest of the Australian people in mind, he is sticking to his training from the Howard years of implementing an archaic US styled privatisation economy, which the whole world has seen go down the toilet yet he thinks we should take the same path, is that not madness. Not just because he can't learn from the past and experience but by a blind baseless theory. Not only did it not work in the US, but hey at least have enough people to attempt competition, but here in Australia we only got 23 million people not really possible for market forces to run the nation, let alone have huge conglomerates rip the guts out of it.

I did see a pic on FB of the similarities between him and strop.

The dead man is still walking.......sigh........mainly because are the opinion polls are up again??????..........everybody in the Liberal party makes a nice face to a bad game......why not just get it done........politics is the best example for a puppet theater ......would love to see who is really pulling the strings.
By the way......taking Ventor Petrozza's hitler-ized face I would put most certainly Mr.Putin in it.....especially after the last presentation of "democracy a la Putin"

A veritable whodunnit. With the prime suspect-- sorry, impartial democratically elected president -- taking personal charge of the investigation.

"Do not worry, my fellow Russians, I pledge to personally track down this...

Putin's flashback?
I'm%2Bagainst%2BPutin_Nemtsov.jpg

I'm just waiting for our resident Putin cheerleader to convince us it was a dastardly stitch-up job by the USA and its lackeys to make him look, you know, not the gentle, kind-hearted, freedom-loving soul that he really is. Soviet-style propaganda never ceases to amuse me -- though it still has a lot of work to do to catch up with North Korea. :D

Many years ago a person far wiser than me told me that we get the politicians we deserve. I didn't think too much about it at the time but I am now inclined to agree!

I personally think we (Australian voters) need to also have a collective long hard look at ourselves at the same time we are sticking the boot into our pollies (both Coalition and Labor). I frankly get tired of the same old partisan views from both sides of politics and their spear carrying supporters.

Politicians throughout history were loathed vilified ridiculed and thrown out of power, then years or so later some one writes a biography on them and we the people FORGET we disliked them so much buy the book and rave about their good points. There is no such thing as a good pollie lol!!

At the risk of being shot down, I have personally in another life ( yes I had one before PT !!) had meetings with both Julia and Rudd and our current Pratt - I liked Julia, she was a person who during my dealings with her lived up to what she said she would. She had genuine empathy for community issues within WA and worked hard to assist me in the avenue I was involved in - a vital part of the WA community in general.

I see mismanagement on all levels of govt and it's not a female. Pollies govern with agendas not of public interests at heart. They are very concerned with polishing up their own shindig for the next election gig. So far they've proven their clown worth.

Hilary Clinton might be on her way to the next presidency..........unless the email scandal is breaking her neck........
I totally agree H2, the was Gillard was treated especially by the media (I mean look who owns the media) was disgraceful. No question there that they would never go on such a low personal level of attack if Gillard would have been a man.

Not quite sure how a misogynistic chauvinist became the Minister for Women. As a woman, I am not okay with that.
