Telegram scams

So, out of boredom I've been screwing around with those telegram scam accounts - offering meet ups with women who look like models, have Twitter accounts saying they're in the UK but oddly live nearby, and are only charging $50 an hour.

Real, sure thing.

When I've asked a couple of they're real, they've actually provided an address. So my question is, what's the scam? I'm assuming if I went to the address (which I won't, I'm stupid, but not that stupid) the people there would have no idea who I was.

Most will start asking you for apple gift cards as payment and then want photos of them before they give you actual address, which of course they won’t be at.

Thought it would be something like that. The weird thing was two just me a (fake) address before asking for any money/gift cards.

I've had similar scammers on dating website ask me too meet them at hotel and get an id number or something. But they weren't even in the country I suspect. Maybe they want you to go to wrong house so they can have a laugh.

Yeah, it was odd they went to the made up address before trying to sting me for gift cards etc

It’s kinda funny stringing them along when you say you’re from somewhere outside of Perth, and they reply with the standard “oh wow I’m close by in [insert whatever comes up nearby when they google map]”

Who would a thought such hotties live in bumpkin towns with a population of 16
