Amelia,You are a very caring and thoughtful (LADY)..the world is very lucky to have woman as caring as you. there are a lot of men out there hurting ,as well as women with broken relationship..not seeing their children, they don't know where or who to turn to..then they find a lady as yourself..who is selfless and caring...it is great to see..thank youThank you for being so open and sharing.
I have never fallen for a client. There are some I get really excited to see and could spend all day with but I still keep it seperate.
I have probably 3 clients that have really opened upto me and have been going through some stuff and haven't has the support from anyone, these ones message frequently and I check in on them daily too.. I may only see them for a booking once a month so not much money is changing hands but I want them to know they do have someone they can turn too and vent or talk to who won't judge and is a constant for them and I will always message back.
These clients do know alot more about me but in doing so they also are fully aware that I am not looking for a relationship and choose to remain single, so they are aware of where they stand in that sense and know nothing but friendship is on offer ❤
I totally agree Amelia, real life experiences far outweigh a degree from a universityAfter years in the field WL's actually are probably way more qualified than psychologists in some way. You meet so many different personalities and you are sharing an intimacy when a person is naked and vulnerable giving you a huge insight into a persons persona. Times that by however many and WL's become very good at reading people and learn a lot as well as become absolutely wonderful advisors (not all but a lot).
Easy to say but lines get crossed all the time in every single profession going.work is work. professionals shouldn't get those lines crossed. imo
