It would appear we don't "all know what true lesbians are like" have you ever spent any time with lesbians or bisexual girls!? The girls in the pictures could easily be bisexual or just have found the one girl they actually find too hot not to kiss.
I am beyond shocked that you have used the stereotypical portrayal of a lesbian couple as your 'evidence' of hot girls kissing in public being a myth 'evidence' for this your post.

I have been lucky enough to have kissed a lot of hot girls, in London and New York and even here in little ole Perth (although not in public in Perth FFS - probably cause some sort of energy surge on the grid)
Maybe you haven't been looking in the right places, or maybe your attitude prevents hot girls kissing in front of you?!? I do agree with one thing you said and that is that girls don't do it public as much as guys but that is because of the drama it causes possibly because of Masters of the Stereotype like your good self!

I am a human being thats all I will say.. I have a few lesbian and gay friends over east and I am just going on what they said to me about the myth of the lesbian couple portrayed on shows the L word etc etc, so I am just a messenger device.
You have been lucky that you have kissed a lot of hot girls, and why not do it in public because women don't men do I have traveled and lived in NYC/London, Amsterdam and Tel Aviv where there are huge Gay and Lesbian populations and Lesbian couples walk hand in hand and rarely show PDAs but Gay men don't care whom sees it or what they do, hence why gays have cruise lounges one on ANZAC parade in Sydney where by I stayed by in a near by motel and saw male after male go in and out of, there are non of these for women as women are not like that..
Loads of my Girl friends talking most of those are non WL's types have all said the same deal, its a myth even look at Ellen on TV she is the bloke and Portia is the girl come on you got to admit that, Lesbianism on TV is the glamorous American couple to make a show, thats all to sell a product much the same when two hot WL's get together and do Lesbian shows its selling a product, mostly directed at men once again. Now would two Rosie O'Donnell type lesbians attract the same massive audience numbers and get blokes lining up? ...
But then again this is why the world is the way it is, differencing of opinions so its all good. as for being in 1952 i am all for equal rights for all including marriage equality, I am all for feminine rights and women's rights I am also for mens rights and equal rights, and equal pay so I am not in 1952 at all, out of all that that's the only part I took to heart,

Fair enough. Sorry about the 1952 comment. I think I took your post in the wrong way, your point was that hot girls don't kiss in public, whereas I thought you really thought hot girls 'lipstick lesbians' don't really ever get together. I think that the use of the word lesbian when discussing any girls together is a bit out dated because it doesn't include bi girls or the sexuality of bi girls.
