While I wouldn't want my childhood back, I miss having time to be creative and dream. I miss the lack of concern that comes with the panic of running out of time. The non existence of pressure to do laundry, dishes or vacuuming. It's a very humbling experience now to be lead away to the couch to sit by my daughter who all but drags me from whatever perceived important task.
