Currently we have Netflix & Amazon Prime.

But last month had Foxtel (with Sports, Documentaries, Drama & lifestyle plus package) Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Stan, & wow that was a huge chunk out of our monthly finances especially when packaged with rural satellite nbn. Don't think we even watched it half the time.

Watch this movie on NetFlix this afternoon, such a great movie and based on a true story. This movie shows me THE POWER OF LOVE can break everything if you WILL, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE to achieve. Dashrath Manjhi (1934 – 17 August 2007), also known as Mountain Man, was a laborer in Gehlaur village, near Gaya in Bihar, India. His life gives a moral lesson that a small man, who has no money and no power can challenge a mighty mountain. With just only using a hammer and chisel, he started hammering the hill people called him a lunatic but that only steeled his resolve further. After 22 years of back-breaking labor, Manjhi carved a path 360 feet long, 25 feet deep in places and 30 feet wide. Manjhi's firm determination to carve the huge mountain gives out a strong message that every hurdle can be crossed if one has kept a firm eye on his goal. His hard work became a success, as the road constructed by him is, now used by villagers. Manjhi died in 2007. The film's postscript states that 52 years after he started breaking the mountain, 30 years after he finished and 4 years after his death the government finally made a metalled road to Gehlaur in 2011. He fought with the Indian government for the development of their village and for the availability of hospitals and roads.

Watch these movies, this is an Indian movie but has English subtitle :)
