FWIW, thrush is easy to get and easy to treat. It's just an out of control fungal growth that already lives in your body.
Some people seem more prone to it than others. It can be spread sexually, but I'd say it occurs naturally in most people, a bit like tinea.
I was recently prescribed some anti biotics, and one of the possible side effects was oral thrush. I'm wondering if this guy googled and found white or green tongue as one of the possible symptoms. (without looking what colour is your tongue right now? Chances are it's the colour of the last flavoured drink you had)
Many years ago I had come back from a WL and in the shower sometime later noticed a red mark on the bishops head. A bit strange since I wore a condom. Naturally my thought went to possible STI.
After thinking about it I remembered the day I went to visit I was in a rush, and jumped in to a really hot shower. Anyway from the shape of the mark I worked out that the temp was hot enough to scald the thinner skin on my knob, (as the mark ended where my foreskin started), but not hot enough to scald my other skin, as I had jumped out pretty quick.
I suppose the point is you may have had those marks, "symptoms" before but never saw them because you never looked.Run the the ED if you like, I'm sure the staff can use a laugh.
