If I went around picking up streetwalkers, hitting bottom of the barrell rub 'n tugs and doing peepshows I would feel like crap afterwards too. If you save a few more pennies and go to a top-shelf brothel you will get a much better experience and probably come out feeling a lot better than when you went in.

Don't know if it is of any comfort but I just I let you know that quite a few my clients have the same experience (feeling bad when paying for sex).
I usually try to remind them that it is a service like every other service. I was goig to write the exact same thing as svengali. Go for a higher class brothel first then more up to a top dollar private escort. Top private escorts usually have penthouse appartments with wine, beer etc you will be feeling great when you leave them.

Yeah true, its hard to tell. It also depends on what is going on in the guys head at the time. But for a true pick me up would for sure go to the penthouse, who wouldn't. I think sometimes you need to willing to tell the receptionist when you make a booking what you have in mind.

I appreciate this thread and the honesty about feeling bad afterwards. I've had a small number of experiences with paying for sex over the years, and a couple have been very enjoyable and a couple have been unpleasant. I would try again if it were easier to find someone who suited me, without having to go through the whole expensive hit and miss process. I am extremely reluctant to pay for sex with someone who may be hating the experience and only in the industry because of a background of abuse and poverty. I have met many workers in the industry both in SA and interstate, and have many sex workers who are very happy, both with their jobs and their lifestyle.

The vast majority of ladies (with the exception of some asian parlours/workers) do this job because we want to, because its our choice to do so, and because it makes us happy.

Dont get sucked in by doctors who have no idea, unless she has worked extensively or had contact with workers from all the areas of the industry in large numbers to be able to comment on her sample, she truely is doing the sex industry a huge disservice and only contriubuting to the stimga and false "facts" that circulate.

Thanks for your quick reply Amy. It is helpful and reassuring to hear such an impassioned response. The reason I would like to make contact with a sex worker is that I feel my sexually active life slipping away from me. I have had "chronic fatigue syndrome" for the past 20 years, and no relationship in that time due to complete lack of energy. It's as much as I can do to maintain a part-time job, keep my house together and maintain my family responsibilities towards my three daughters (my wife died of cancer some time ago.) I'm now in my mid-fifties, and apart from the chronic fatigue syndrome, am perfectly healthy. But at 57 I feel my chances of ever having a sexual relationship again slipping away from me and it fills me with panic and frustration. So paid sex seems the only answer. I think the Chronic Fatigue is more the issue than the 57. I understand his feelings, of not wanting to get a dud when he has limited energy and finances.

Hi christopher_robin.......demon is right......age has nothing to do with it. I have seen clients 30 years my senior (lol and I am not a spring chicken anymore) and I had a great time and so did my clients. So forget about the age....only unnecassary pressure you put on yourself.......no need.

this is very fascinating to me - I've always wondered how a client feels afterwards considering I deal with a particular niche area and the bulk of clients are just wanting to try something new and different after watching tranny porn and being brave enough to explore deep seeded curiousities...
