I've been running 25 - 75 km a week on average since I was 15. I only do it now because it's so easy and it actually feels worse to stop. I have no knee, ankle or physical health issues touch wood. It's also really handy, I'm just going to pick my car up from it's service at it's 9km into town so will run across the hills even if it is hailing right about now :(

Dallas you're a marvel.

I can jog about 15 - 20 minutes and then I'm shagged.

Use it or lose it. Im no fanatic. But one day ill be too old to ride a bike or jog round the block. That time will occur sooner if I do nothing.
Im not talking anything approaching excessive but every week ill do a bit of jogging. Bike riding. Swimming. Bushwalking and a few Weights.
Usually by myself. I hate most people and much prefer my own company.
I work on a minesite so anytime I can spend not being surrounded by men I take

I can understand bush seeker if there was a mining job surrounded by women I'd take it it think ;-).

I hope your wrong mr H2 as at 52 I want to still be able to run anywhere. Maybe when I get to Perth I'll organise a forum fun run around the city that stops in at all the establishments, it could be the ultimate ironman event! - entry fee $2,500 lol!!

I know Mr C, the idea is while all the customers are running through the Pilbara, you get your favourite establishment to yourself along with their disqualification fee for not breaking the 4 minute mile... yes fine print is awesome! ;'-)

How can you have a fun run?... After about 20 minutes fun isn't the word that springs to mind.

As Tania says it's very relaxing once you find your pace. The day it feels bad I'll give it away ... a bit like something else really but the difference is I get to choose when I go for a run :p
