hello fellow punters, I an heading first time to pattaya next friday for 4 days..can u please suggest places to visit, places to avoid, precautions, currency exchange, anything u think would be helpful based on your previous experience there...
also is there anything u get in Australia pharmacy like antibiotics u can take in advance to prevent STD infections..I have always taken precautions but don't want to take any chances...thanks in advance

My favourite is the sapphire club and Soi 6 but the best way is get a girl to show you around all the different areas in Pattaya and as for precautions for an STD …wear a raincoat

To be sure you can go on PreP. Need a script here from your GP.
Can buy antibiotics for clamydia etc over the counter in Thailand.

I know you've already taken the trip (hope you had a good time) but maybe this is useful for others.

Its easy for a first time visitor to be overwhelmed by pattaya. My advice is to stay away from the main walking street area - prices are inflated and the punting there is the same. You will be ripped off. Go for a look by all means but there's better offerings elsewhere.

The streets to the northern end of the beach are great but can get a bit crazy, I've had some great times in the area around LK Metropole (off Soi Buakhao)

Always make sure you're hotel allows guests as this avoids any awkwardness and can ruin a stay if you are there primary as a monger.

I haven't had any luck here in Aus. Doctors are really reluctant and concerned about antibiotics resistance.
