If they have no idea you have the account then an audit trail doesnt matter. There is no "cause fir divorce" in Australia. If its discovered as a part of a divorce settlement it wont affect the split of assets because they are only concerned with what exists on the date of separation, and by then it doesnt matter at all. What is obvious is cash being diverted out of the joint account after you get paid, unless you get paid in cash, which is more of an issue with the Tax dept and clients who choose to dob you in for whatever reason. Believe me Im in finance and have seen that happen to tradies heaps of times over arguments about jobs.

So what actaully changed that supposidly scared people off? Seems like a free roaming forum to me. Sure a couple of tasks to get full access but you expect that with most things.

No body was scared off per se; they just didn't like the demands of the you must do this otherwise we don't want you. It was super confusing at the time and most people didn't like being dictated to, rightly or wrongly. Most people don't see any value in having to join Langtrees.com so didn't do it, I find it a terribly laid out site and it's too difficult to try and navigate, so I don't use it. I agree with what Smythie says above, now it's just the 'mods' chatting amongst themselves, and most of their comments don't add value, it's just designed to keep the comment numbers up. There are more 'mods' than active participants now, and some off them add no value at all.

Mods seems to have been chosen due to their activity in the forum so that does kind of make sense. It is abit of a shame that their comments often dont have value, that was well bought up, would you say aside from general chat there should be a standard when it comes to moderator contribution?
It is understandable not wanting to sign up for something you dont use but that doesnt really hinder much when it comes to the general parts of the forum.

Totally not trying to single you out, just curoius as I see this line of commenting almost everywhere on the server and I wonder if its contributing to the decrease in activity

Mods were chosen because in most cases they asked to be chosen.

Most folks on here including the staff at Langtrees including the owner herself, all have/had a long term relationship with the sex industry(client,escort,owner, previous client,escort, escort that became client, client that became escort) etc erc you get the gest, and before this place took a different tact not that long ago, people could take a joke, people were ridiculed, laughed at in threads, no one reported anyone, it was full of great good olde Australian banter, loads of escorts took part in the discussions, discussions on here led clients to go see the lady herself at Langtrees, and were open about that to everyone.. Both Happy farmers XLNC, beep, Miss Monique, The pirate himself etc all were joking with each other and yes I was the village idiot we all had our online personalities but we all knew how far to take it.... all of us back then got a mail from @Mrs Langtrees and other Moderators to pull out heads in, and we did... but it was all in gest as we all were/still are connected to this industry in one way or another and it was just that a fun place to be and hang out and chat/joke etc etc with like minded people...

And to add if you look at some postcounts on here that is the reason why those went up back then alot faster than what they are doing today, as those folks contributed and hung around here for ages, and posted alot... compared to what is happening today.

Which leads me to this one considering what I have mentioned before walking into Langtrees and taking up your role, did you or have you had any connections at all to this industry ?

Possibly another way in which a punter can become a favourite client is being a regular.

One private WL used to ask me to book at the end of her shift so she could share a meal with me.

Another would message me and ask if I could go over to visit and share a wine over a conversation.

Regulars offer some form of stability or reliability for want of a better term.

Once again basing it on your experience but everyone has different experiences. I've shared many bottles of wine and an occasional meal with ladies before or after the paid time and most of the time it has not been a problem. Or switching from professional to friendzoned.

Spot on. Without posts from anyone associated with this forum there is little activity at all.
My post had good intentions about community spirit, about being helpful, and a different idea.
It started with a regular and a receptionist who asked me for money change. Breaking up a $50 note. So they initiated the idea. Its like bringing a gift or food or drink. Good intentions. But then a moderator takes it as a negative. Then a 2nd moderator joins in etc. Now I see pirate is following me. Most moderators are good. As someone else asked who watches the moderators. With great power comes great responsibility.
Surely management don't want to drive people away from this site?
