Have you been in love with more than one person at a time?

Personally I haven't but then I've only really ever been in love with one person. I've definitely had attractions to other people while I've been with him though so I can totally understand how you could have serious feelings for more than one person. It's not very romantic but in that situation I would probably write a pros and cons list for each- I fundamentally believe that you should be in love with someone in your head as well as your heart if it has any chance of lasting.

Love? I feel I might still love a woman I haven't seen in many, many years. I believe I was in love with two at that time. Made my choice. There're varying intensities of any emotion - love included - and as such feel that I possibly love three now. But is it love? Perhaps it's another emotion and don't really love any. :sour:

Have you ever been in love with more than one person at a time? Not lust, but actually a deep emotional connection with two people.

How did you make the choice...when both have different qualities, which attract you.

Yes, I have but made the choice by listening to my intuition.

This reminds me of a quote i once read "if you find yourself in love with two people, you should choose the second person you fell in love with, cause if you truely loved the first person, you never of would of fallen in love with the second"
oh i like this...

Ahoy;- Yes been there.
Its is very difficult, when you need to make a choice. Either discussion you will tear you heart in two.
But to move forward you need to make a choice.
Moving forward and sticking to your decision is the only thing that counts.
Its tough, it hurts but that is life.

I agree happypirate. I think sometimes you find qualities in the 2nd person you would like to find in the 1st.
I have been in this situation myself and i walked away from both. I just couldn't handle making the choice of both
of them. One i still have deep feelings for and we still chat but my first love, i never forgot him.

Yes. It's not fun. "To quote the Stones: I'm caught between a rock and a place"

The answer yes.
However there is more pain than joy.
A lot of guilt and trying to understand how you ever got into this situation.
I know it will not last forever.
I try to remain positive and enjoy the experience.
Just for the record... never again.
