Not wanting to cause a panic however I assume many of you have heard about Covid positive cases linked to a massage/spa in Applecross and it’s sister venue in Mt Lawley.
From what I read the ladies were customers who visited not necessarily staff but that would mean staff have been exposed.
Unsure if any of the staff work across other venues including our beloved Jasmines.
Not much we can do about that and the days ahead will tell us if there is reason for more concern.
Apparently not many people checked in, we can’t change that, people forget at times.
What we can do, not only to protect ourselves but also the venues we visit, if more than one, is to check-in in some way so that you can be contacted should you be considered at risk.
Should we be unlucky to test positive maybe we can contact Fiona by private message (or other), that way maintaining your privacy also helping keep Fiona and her team of lovely ladies safe but importantly it will allow Fiona to let us all know to be on alert while maintaining the privacy of person reporting.
What your vaccination status is or isn’t doesn’t need to be disclosed should you choose not to, just advise Fiona directly if you test positive, no need for you to post publicly. You can maintain your privacy along with anonymity if you wish.
It may help avoid a mandate being implemented for attending these venues or similar.
By remembering to check-in, again how is up to you, we’re also helping protect the business which may be forced to close otherwise.
No need here for a debate about vaccines and mandates here, plenty of places you can go to other than here to do that.
Have a great day, stay positive but not Covid positive and be happy with plenty of gotchas from Fiona’s team of lovely ladies.
Thanks for your input. The covid positive person was a worker not a customer and has then infected another worker
Apparently "U" has not been too honest in what they have disclosed to authorities and is hiding girls who are not on the books as such as they are worried about tax and visa implications instead of the health and safety of the greater community
If this is true I hope they feel the full brunt of the appropriate authorities
And as for "forgetting " to sign in what a crock of shit it is a premeditated decision to not sign in
Letting Fiona know is not a solution it is just a cover up, if you play the game pay the consequences like the man you are sposed to be
Fully selfish act to try to cover anything up and these are the people that deserve to get the virus as they only think of one person
There will never be a “return to normalacy“ (precovid) To date WA with closed borders has been as close as anywhere in the world. With the jennie out of the bottle and Covid loose in the community, we are about to enter the “new normal” as replicating the eastern states and most of the rest of the world - heading for endemic COVID loose in the community rather than trying to stave off the Covid pandemic! Thanks for your input.
Agree we should be checking in.
I get annoyed when I see people walk in to a shop strutting past the scan point with a FU attitude.
So far as letting Fiona know, it’s not to cover up but so Fiona and the ladies are aware and can monitor get tested if required. Protecting her business.
When I first heard, I did think it may have been workers. Getting attention from the authorities could be costly.
I think many of us are longing for the return to normalcy and are trying to do our part.
Be safe.
Thank you darling.I will. You too . Stay safeYou and the girls take care Fiona
I would like to thank everyone for the love and looking out for my shop.
One thing that I am strict on is ensuring my shop is clean... the sheet changed on every job and washed the same day..
We will be doing further deep cleaning after hours (more work for me) But its what we do to keep the shop open.
All of our staff are allowed to work, I do check all visa status.. Also none of my current workers are currently working at the closed shop.
In line with the current WA guidelines mandate.. We must make sure that everyone, workers, customers and visitors all must check in, either manually or via the scan code.
Also, from 6pm tonight... everyone must be wearing a mask.. We must protect each other from this virus.
Unfortunately, due to the closed shops and rising virus cases, all the authorities will be keeping a close look at all the AMP shops.
Please keep safe and look forward to see you all soon!
I used to wear my mask all the time.
I checked in,all the time.
45 000 per day infected in NSW looks like a losing battle.
I'm triple vaccinated. We still catch it. We still pass it on.
I'm really of the opinion now, 'why bother
I'm fatalistic and realistic enough to expect to catch it, despite precautions.
So, I'm not as diligent checking in, I'm not so diligent in mask wearing.
If we had kept the borders closed I would have been as dilligent still. However, opening up to the world and the virus..... why bother?
So I take a guess that if the borders are opened up as promised by Uncle MarkyWith my sick kids, unfortunately I deal a lot with perth hospital system.
It won’t cope full stop.
Are the girls vaccinated ?I would like to thank everyone for the love and looking out for my shop.

My father gave me this advice many years ago as teenager '' Son don't worry about there legs as it's the first thing you push apart.''Give her a foot rub??
You guys & the legs
Seen Cherry a number of times; her legs ain’t what got my attention
Am I missing out here??![]()
Unfortunately I have made the decision to close the shop until Sunday 23rd.. re-opening on the Monday 24th
In light of what has happened in our industry, we have taken the hardest decision to temporarily close the store.
Many of our workers have stopped working and have taken a short holiday, mostly afraid to work as they have seen what has happened to other shops.
We will not force any of our staff to work if they don’t want to, hence taking this one week off is the best option.
During this closure period, we will go through and do a deep clean to the whole store.
Please note that we are doing this off our own backs, we have not been told by any authority to close the shop. We always want to be ahead of any issues like this and will always comply.
It’s our responsibility to ensure that all staff are happy and safe with their work environment and the wellbeing of all our customers.
Love you all and hope to see you next week
