Yep ... from recent media musings, whilst the lockdown may be relaxed in part this weekend, there does seem to be a focus on continuing some form of a 14 day protection period extending from the 30 January 2021 potential exposure date.
Watching the Premier/Health Minister Press Conference at the moment - they are having an Emergency Management meeting at 3pm today. Premier has announced he will either make comment on what restrictions will be later this evening or early tomorrow morning to allow for businesses to roster staff accordingly etc.

Hopefully it will be something like keep the mask on public transport and internal gathering or something like that so they can relax the regional restrictions.

Meant to be heading south this weekend.

If the masks are to remain for an extended period, then I can't see dining out (restaurants, cafes, etc) conditions being relaxed this weekend.

Personally, I'm looking forward to a return to Dining-at-the-Y ... Zero calories / Maximum enjoyment ! ... ;)

See what happens.

Seems quarantine poor air quality.

I would think a country hotel with windows better idea. No windows air con seems to encourage.

Why aren't workers isolating too than wandering around town. The economic impact is large

I am ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN when visiting my lovely regular, she will back her lady bits directly onto my mouth and expect me to do my manly duties. There will be of course no mask interfering in the process.

Masks mandatory until 14 Feb, Nightclubs & Casino to remain closed until then. Sth West region are allowed to go back to pre-lockdown conditions. People in Perth/Peel can't go out of this boundary until after 14th Feb.
Also individuals are now liable for a fine if we fail to sign into a premise. So now AMP's etc are going to have ensure every client signs in - just incase we are an undercover Police Officer.

Thanks to 'sircurious' for his postings above.

My take on Mark McGowan's comments :

Specifically, a return to pre-restrictions is scheduled for 12:01am on Sunday morning, 14 February 2021 (one minute post-midnight), subject to no positive COVID cases turning up during the next nine days.

All Perth businesses can reopen after 6:00pm tomorrow, except casinos and nightclubs.

Masks must continue to be worn. Exceptions for mask wearing include those undertaking vigorous public exercising, all primary school students, and all educational institution teachers when working in a verbal lecture room situation.

Interestingly, the Premier asks that common sense apply to consuming a meal or drinks at a restaurant / café ... mask on, except when actually consuming your food or drink.

A 4sqm rule applies to physical distancing.

A maximum of 150 people is permitted for sporting activities and weddings.

wearing mask getting massage this week ? wearing mask while getting extras ?

It's my understanding that 'Charlie Punter' will be distributing his modified masks to all Perth AMPS, an image of which he posted a few lines above ! ... ... ... ha ha ha 🥳

Well I remember my first visit to an AMP in June last year after the long lockdown ended I visited Phoenix Massage in Leederville (before it went legit) and the girl who massaged me then was wearing a mask throughout the session including the extras which thankfully was only a HJ.

That might still make Sir Prank happy. Otherwise he might have to continue keeping a stiff upper lip for another week...

FYI - All the information about what you can and can't do after 6pm Friday 5th.

Transition out of lockdown from 6pm, Friday 5 February (www.wa.gov.au)
I read this and it is still lacking detail for businesses of interest here. Also, no statement on the 5 km distance away from home for 'exercise'. Interestingly, no masks required for 'vigorous exercise' -so step up guys! Seriously, no doubt admin here can fill us in on how it is going to play out, once they know.

Evidently, we're all now free to roam within the Perth and Peel districts ... I'm not sure what instructions apply if we want to wander beyond these boundaries prior to Sunday 14 February 2021.

the only problem i see about signing into an AMP on the register or safe app.. is when they bring up my history, alot of raised eyebrows from the department concerned...
" really you went there that many times.. dont you have a wife..." 🤷‍♂️
