Ok lets chill out and relax for.a bit, without mentioning parlors... what is everyone's favorite thing about living in Perth?

Anything at all..

Oh so many, beaches, sunsets, food (YES PEEPS there is great dining here), happy people (99.9% anyways) by comparison to eastern staters, once jumped in a cab in Sydney and just the simple act of saying hello the cab driver said "your not from here are you" ... very weird.

Scarborough Beach dance nights, cocktail hour, WA as a whole has soooo many different landscapes and we don't live on top of each other here. We really are quite the cosmopolitan little city in our very own right! AND hopefully with the new/old pollies in place they will keep plugging for more of our mining $$$s to remain here and MAYBE someone might have enough balls to start charging taxes and more royalties on all our natural resources and the funds stay in WA ... well one can dream!

The OBH in Cottesloe used to be a favourite watering hole for those of us from the country after a college day in Fremantle.

Clancy's Fish Pub in Freo is another favourite haunt.

For me it's three things.
The beaches and the hills. Perth has some amazingly beautiful places where can exercise or relax with friends and family. So many places are an easy drive to get to.
Space, and the quiet that comes with it. I'll never forget when I went to a beach in South Carolina - Isle of Palms. You get the area of your towel plus about a foot. That's it, that's your space, so many people.
Food. We are so lucky to have people from all over the world living here and we've mostly avoided Ethnoburbs. To me, this means we can enjoy authentic international food all over Perth. This week I've enjoyed Cambodian and Mexican.
