Let's be real: this is the ultimate customer service business.
if the establishment were willing to provide a premium service (other than time with a lady) for an entry fee, you could effectively push out the tyre kickers and 'just having a look' guys. In turn, provide that catered experience for your paying guests; this could even help with the shy/timid guys. Give them that wifi, a cold beer, and some time to decompress. He then feels relaxed, thus more likely to stay and spend. Food for thought. I see pros and cons to both sides of the argument though.
