Anyone on the forum affected by Cyclone Alfred?
My FIFO girlfriend in the Logan district escaped with a brolen window and a messy yard.
Airport should be back open Sunday so she will be able to get to Adelaide next weekend.šŸ˜Š

I'm glad she will be back on time Oz. Looks like the wind was a bit of a fizzer but I'm hoping the flooding isn't as bad as they predict. I'm in Perth and would love to see some rain, same as you guys in SA is my guess.

Some rain in SA would be nice. None forecast, though.
Yeah, Cindy says she just got a broken window and a messy yard. The Gold Coast got battered, but we've both been there enough timesvto know the coffee shops on the seafront strip will be back doing a roaring trade Sunday morning.

That's very sad. One mistake is all it takes unfortunately. Swift water and cars don't mix well. I hope Qld is back on it's feet quickly. They are no strangers to bouncing back as you have said and experienced yourself.

First whole summer in Perth in over 7 plus years.. sooooooo glad its over...
