I don't know about the dust having settled, but it's inconvenient not having Cracker and Craigslist around.
That said, I check Doublelist the way I checked Craigslist. Who doesn't want a free hookup?
Not many of the druggies so far, and some of the regular advertisers have popped up once more. However, I answered an ad Thursday night for a lady who was offering something I like to do. She replied asking where I was.
After I told her, there was nothing further from that email address. I did, though, get a badly-written reply from someone who wanted me to come over right now.
She sent me another nine emails, which all went to my spam box as the red flags went up immediately. She said her husband had died six months ago and she was lonely and horny. She kept stressing that she didn't want my credit card details and why wouldn't I trust her?
I checked the links for her "profile" and they brought up a dating site. I suspect that the original poster didn't actually exist and I was being pressured by a scammer. That said, I'm sure there are some genuine people out there.

This article confirms my feelings of what impact of an effective ban, on advertising has had on the Australian Sex Industry. Until effective websites have been set-up/running and become more effectively known, there will be impact on advertisements.

Doublelist has some familiar ads, but not as good as Craigslist was. Some of the W4M ads seem to lead to a dating site, so beware.
