My first visit to a brothel in Canberra was in 1997. There was an establishment in Grimwade St, Mitchell to the left of where Beaumont Tiles is now. It closed years ago. In Fyshwick the Rose Palace has closed down, the Lollipop Lounge is closed for the foreseeable future, A Touch of Class and the Canberra Gentleman's Club look dead despite apparently being open.
Down the road Pretty Girls and their supposed high-class offshoot Secret Garden are both open. Elsewhere Tiffany's looks very rundown. It's difficult to tell what is going on at Anne Babes House, but as they are advertising I guess that they are going along ok.
