I've noticed that the Rose Palace has reopened in Fyshwick, with A Touch of Class and the Gentleman's Retreat also open up on the next level. The Lollipop Lounge which closed because of COVID-19 is still closed.

I've noticed that the former Lollipop Lounge premises on Gladstone St has been sold. Considering the neighbours, a new brothel would probably be the only suitable business.

The Capital Men's Club strip joint at 84 Gladstone St have been playing a few ads on 2CC. Not really the most appropriate content for the Drive program. From the outside it looks abandoned, and when I've driven past when it is apparently open it still looks like a dump.

The jointly owned and adjacent Secret Garden and Pretty Girls appear to have physically merged, with Secret Garden now not having a separate entrance it seems. I wonder how they can justify SG having higher prices than PG when they are now essentially the same operation.

An automotive repair shop Latin Motors appears to have moved into at least part of the former Rose Palace premises at 106-108 Gladstone St, Fyshwick.

Meanwhile upstairs the old Lollipop Lounge has been gutted, with the interior being totally rebuilt as the permanent location for the kitchens of food delivery service Vood Canberra. They currently have a test kitchen in Braddon.

I wasn't able to see if Touch of Class and Gentleman's Retreat were open, but I'll try to find out in the next few days.

I already mentioned that Secret Garden has been amalgamated with Pretty Girls despite both still have separate websites. It all means that there are less legal brothels in Fyshwick.
