It would be best for you to focus on understanding the Australian accent, not Australian slang. There is a difference.
Many of the links provided are about slang.

Listen to horse racing on the radio and TV download old Melbourne Cup videos on your computer when you can follow what the race callers say Australian English will be a cinch .
