The first 2 AIDS cases in Australia were in 1981 & 1982 - that’s when it started to raise its ugly head.

Exactly. And it was presumed that it was a disease only spread amongst homosexuals. By 1985, it was becoming well known that EVERYONE could get it. I remember an American sailor in town with a t-shirt saying "I don't have AIDS".
 
don't forget the drug den Tudor lane
had some fun there but half the girls were smack heads .
ohh the steam room and spa memories .
remember being trapped upstairs for 4 hours with a charming underage girl ( didn't realise at the time that the school uniform wasn't a costume ) when there was an OD down stairs and the full st johns and coppers on the premises

Adina's was owned by Lynne. Who is a lovely lady and I am still close with all these years later.🌺🐊😎🌴

That was a great place. The ladies paraded for you and there was a “menu” to select from.
All Caucasian in those days,from the early seventies. I don’t remember ever using condoms in those days,Was that Mrs Flatmans place?

Yes, this was about 15 years ago.
