It is fair comment, but remember many Australian ladies do to America & Europe and also work with out a working visa.
What happens if a Singaporean Client calls me to send a lady to him in his country, I have done this before, technically she is not able to work there legally.
I think the onus should be more on the business, as these same business are not declaring income for GST etc.

Many countries at AmericaS Prostitution is illegal, even having a working visa girls can't work as an escort over there!!! Full stop…
Def sending a non Singaporean ladie to work in Singapore its illegal… But thats non of my business ..

But we r not in America or Singapore, we r in australia and the law here says that u need a Work Permission from Immi to be able to do ANY type of work in this country and also pay taxes…

Australia probably has the most nationalities of all... most of us get along or put up with each other but we don't do the AUSTRALIAN WAY. We all clump together in our own areas and keep our homeland cultues.. Asians, Poms, Africanas etc and they all have their own clubs

I've said it before and I'll say it again: migration must be managed. We can't have a free for all, but we can have folks from many different backgrounds who share common values contributing to our national life.

Gabrielle if one of your regular clients wanted to take you New York for a week for say $20,000 would you say no, because you are technically breaking the american law.
If a client takes you shopping and spend $5000 on you do you declare it as income, or fringe benefit tax which it truly is?
I am just saying, it works both ways. I know of many girls that have gone overseas and worked, and they were Australians.
I am not criticizing, just saying their are two sides to every story.

I can understand ur point of view Maryanne… Sure every story has 2 sides…

I think a client that is my regular in Australia, met me throughout Australian website or any other escort search tools in Australia, made the arrangement in Australia to go to New York I don't think its illegal as Im just a company for my Australian client in New York.. I won't be adding or working on the streets in New York… Thats a totally different situation that Ive pointed here where those girls working on a tourist visa ( its illegal work on a tourist visa in this country..) , they have add on a australian escort search directory, they work at brothels or massages palour ..

Wow… introduce me to this client.. Id love to have someone taking me shopping and spending this amount of $$$!!!! But If this "shopping" is in exchange for service I think its a income and should be declared…. But if he's just a genourous guy… a treat is always welcomed…

May I just ask I hear all these good things like paying full taxes etc
Does that mean ,that on my next visit to langtrees , the $100 in extras will be declared to the taxman Because it is not a tip it's a payment for extra services

Totally agree Lingham, but if l had my time again l would have 10 kids, live in a mansion supplied by Homeswest and be retired living of the childrens allowance (or whatever they call it these days) at the age of 30 :happy:

....gees, I was within a whisker of posting my initial views. In the end, and in keeping with my one and only new year's resolution (ie, to not let political stupidity get to me), I decided not to... :)

From another view point Australians have a strange sense of what is a natural course of metropolitan urbanisation. In most other countries the government pushes for density not spread. It's just a unusual point I've noticed that Australians prefer to have their own land when in comparison living in island countries you build up to the skyline. There are a few other things which I've noticed which I would say is strange as well but I think that's a interestingly pointed one.

True that, not getting sucked in. But some people take the readily available credit as a symbol of status. They are happy to show everyone their platinum cards.
And they make it hard to avoid sometimes. I was once refused a $2,500 loan but given an $8,000 credit card during the same appointment. When you really need the money, what are you supposed to do?

Well easy credit with high interest, is the main interests of the bonks. They wanna suck you dry. I guess if you already have a mortgage, just withdraw from there, lower interests. Or if you still live with your parents, borrow against their mortgage with promise of repayment. Makes better sense. To owe credit card debt is really a no brainer.
